Fostair Tips
Hi! So, I have just come off the phone from one of the nurses at my GP surgery, and she has switched me from 200mg Clenil Modulite 1 puff 2x daily (initially I was on Clenil 100mg 2x puffs 2x daily but due to the shortage they changed me to the 200 and just halved the number of puffs) to Fostair 100/

Insect bite
I’ve got a bloomin’ insect bite on my ankle which has become swollen. I’ve taken an antihistamine, rubbed hydrocortisone on it and iced it for 15 mins. So annoyed as I might not be able to run for a few days 😬

Struggling
Upped symbicort dose to 2 puffs twice a day (on nurse's recommendation) and added daily
antihistamines
in case pollen was a factor. Again, worked for a couple of days, and then yesterday was awful - up half the night with laboured breathing, took about 8 puffs of ventolin to get it under control.

Please help?
Could someone please remind me of which two are the
antihistamines
that DON’T affect RLS? Was taking one, but it played havoc and wasn’t sleeping well again. I have had to revert to taking Clonazepam yet again with an upped dose. Need an antihistamine for my allergies.

Antihistamines and high blood pressure medication
Have suffered high blood pressure for many years and take Enalapril. Last year had a heart bypass so end up with a few more pills to take but find I am not allowed any cold remedies. Now I discover that I may suffer from Hay Fever - can I safely take anything to relieve the symptoms?

Allergic reaction or rash on face with Afinitor/Everolimus
Hi everyone, I started on Afinitor (10mg) in mid- April and after 5 days, developed a small rash on my forehead. Rash would come and go for a few weeks, never really bothering me. However, I'm now on second month of Afinitor and rash has come back and hasn't gone away. Rash is on my cheeks, forehead

Tinnitus sufferer since 2003 - and it’s gotten worse
I have tried using white noise apps for masking,
antihistamines
, and currently a Fluticasone steroid nasal spray. I have been doing a lot of research and I think I may have ETD (eustachian tube dysfunction) brought on by the persistent ear infection.

Hey Everyone Just want to start by saying that I've only had one run in with AF back in February but my cardiologist has not officially diagnosed me with AF since he thinks this MAY have been a one and done incident due to an adverse reaction to
antihistamines
... but only time will tell.

Constant flu
I have been to the doctors a while ago roughly 10 times, had blood tests, antibiotics, nasal sprays,
antihistamines
, been to ENT specialist, paid to go private and nothing has helped. I am now worrying that i could have something serious

Antihistamines and your immune system.
Worth thinking about. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
How
work "
Antihistamines
work by blocking the effects of a chemical called histamine in your body.

Dry skin and hair
I've read with interest that some of you have had problems with dry skin. When my flare-up first started, my skin (mainly on my face) and my hair have become very dry. I posted a couple of weeks ago about my face being red and blotchy - this has now cleared up - I am taking an antihistamine every day

Sciatica treatment
Hello, this is my first post and I hope you can help. Five weeks ago I was prescribed Oramorph for Sciatica. This has messed up my whole sleep pattern. I am getting 2 to 3 hours of broken sleep. (Usually a good 8 hours). The pain is now manageable with Naproxen and Paracetamol so I have come off

Cough remedies?
Hello, Ive been having minor asthma issues for a few weeks now (8 to be exact). These all settled eventually after being advised by a family member to try an antihistamine and I've been pretty good for around 3 weeks now. I've never been bothered by hay fever before however, this really seemed to help

Looking for some advice on constant shortness of breath. Seen by GP several times, awaiting consultant appt.
Spoke to them again couple weeks later, they changed my BP med and gave me some
antihistamines
to try and see if that made a difference - Nothing... Past few weeks it’s become quite a bit worse and it’s driving me nuts.

Yesterday she had a video call with the doctor who prescribed
antihistamines
. She took one at 14 - 30 yesterday afternoon & she is still the same this morning. One eye is also closed now due to the puffiness.
