SSRI withdrawal and RLS
I'm 63 and have been on
antidepressants
of one type or another for over 30 years. I started on nortryptiline, switched to paxil, effexor, celexa, and have been on lexapro (escitalopram) for nearly two decades, About seven years ago, I developed RLS.

? If going back on HRT will help me?
With
antidepressants
I’ve suffered chronic constipation, very poor sleep etc …… etc. . Does trying HRT sound reasonable to anyone. Would appreciate thought/ideas on this.

I don’t know how to begin, so I will just tell the story.
They tried me on 7-8 different
antidepressants
one at a time with no help. So klonopin and beta blocker and excercise was my go to since 1993. 16 months ago, I was doing my 30 minutes of calisthenics, before my 1 mile swim. And during the push-ups part something snapped in my sternum.

Advice please
My husband is great, but I don’t think he understands how I feel, any time I’ve had mental distress he thinks I need
antidepressants
, and I really don’t think that’s the thing. So if anyone can advise on what to do with this, or even just someone to chat to I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Is anyone else taking rhodiola rosea?
Please note if you intend to take rhodiola rosea it may interact and exacerbate side effects of
antidepressants
so talk to doctor first.

Anxiety and depression spiralling out of control I just don’t know what to do anymore
Hi Everyone, I guess I am writing on here because I don’t know how to speak to anyone else. I have struggled with anxiety and depression for years. I think some of it stems from having an emotionally abusive alcoholic father. But I tried to just move on from my past and get over it. Though it doesn’t

PMDD and endometriosis
I’m currently on 20mg of amytriptiline to help the nerve problems in my vagina and was wondering if a higher dose of
antidepressants
could help? I’m also considering going on the mirena coil for the endo and hear this might help?

Did a good job for me.
I've always tended to wean off
antidepressants
by cutting corners off the tablets and holding until Ive felt normal again before chopping anymore off. However, wish Id done that to get off Trazodone because the pain clinc took me off it by bridging me on to Duloxetine.

AUGMENTATION OF LEVO WITH ANTIDEPRESSANTS
My question is are there any members on here who's blood results and vitamins were looking ok but still felt depressed and did you try adding Levo to your
antidepressants
to see if it lifted your mood more? Please see my bloods attached (I hope you can see them ok).

5-HTP + L-TYROSINE for Depression?
I want to choose supplementation because it doesn't make us dependant like
antidepressants
, so it's based on our needs. You don't have to taper off a supplement gradually.

Did weight loss help you, even if you weren’t technically overweight?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 6 months ago, have tried several
antidepressants
and currently on cymbalta— not helping. My doctor basically told me all that’s left is to lose weight as “I could stand to lose 10-15 pounds”. Has weight loss helped anyone?
