Am i going mad? (I'm new here!)
Hello all, I'm a 27 year old mum (DD is 2.5yrs) who is constantly tired, headachey, anxious and just overall not good! I've struggled with depression, anxiety, low (no!) sex drive, weight gain, tiredness, long & heavy periods (30 days on end) and serious brain fog for the best part of my adult life.

Antidepressants
Hello, I am wanting to speak to my doctor about my anxiety and ocd which has become worse and I have tried all possible things to help with dealing with it. I don’t go to doctors unless needed and this has been a problem for me for longer than I care to admit. I am trying to get the courage to speak

Can low blood sugar be an issue in an underactive Thyroid? Do you know what your HBA 1c number is?
The 34 was taken when I had lost two stone and wasn't eating but the 33 is recent and I've put it back on and then some (
antidepressants
) and am eating normally now. Does anybody know their levels please?

Any sites to buy T3 in Europe?
I just figured that maybe I'm just depressed and over the next 10 years tried 6 different
antidepressants
. Recently I had several days where I felt fantastic over the last few months randomly and then went back to being tied and frosted.

IBS C anxiety
I do breathing exercises & listen to mindfulness videos to help with the anxiety, and also tried
antidepressants
but couldn’t get on with them as they made my stomach even worse .

PMS the evil
I was advised I could take
antidepressants
to deal with my mood swings but I refused to and decided to deal with my symptoms by myself, with sport activities and mindfulness. I’m now reconsidering my options, lockdown hasn’t been gentle to me and I’m now suffering from anxiety too.

Bronchiestasis sufferer who takes Citalopram
Hi, I was diagnosed with Bronchiestasis by ct scan 5 years ago but my Consultant says my condition has deteriorated so in addition to rescue 2 week pack of amoxicillin he now wants to go on azithromycin, but before I can start on it I have to have a check on my heart, because I also take the antidepressant

A DJs Story.
Went to the GP, was offered
antidepressants
, ENT referral - Took a few weeks for the
antidepressants
to kick in but they did help with the anxiety, I still couldn’t sleep so the GP gave me amitriptyline to help (which it did).

Mannitol and B1: What’s going on?
Last September, my hwp for 16 years, started mannitol. Over the next months, this gradually allowed him to reduce his dopamine meds, first eliminating the Neupro patch, then gradually eliminating Rytary. He has cognitive impairment and too much of those 2 meds would cause hallucinations. But dialing

Alternative thyroid medication or anti anxiety medication?!
So my question is - do I keep pursuing it as a thyroid problem and hope that adding in T3 (which my endocrinologist wouldn’t give me because she thinks I’ll feel worse) or switching to NDT will help or do I give in and try anti anxiety medication/
antidepressants
?!

Glycol allergy and mental health treatment
Hi all, I found out recently that I have a glycol allergy along with many of its petroleum derived friends (like propanediol, phenoxyethanol, PG, and so on). I’m also terribly allergic to Blue No. 2 dye. I think that might be related to it in some way. I was wondering if there’s anyone here that has

Does it make me crazy that I actually saved the small container of
antidepressants
(with the pills still in it) they gave me that night at the emergency room? I'm not sure why I hold on to them. A sick reminder I guess.

Seeking Advice Regarding Ferritin Levels
I’ve only recently started taking the sertraline again after stopping it in desperation hoping that the removal of my
antidepressants
might help with the RLS which was running rampant through me and all I could think of was making it stop.

Kind of vent, kind of looking for advice (psychiatrist, trying to get diagnosed)
He did put me on stimulating
antidepressants
though--welbutrin, which has never done much for me, and venlafaxine (effexor). Effexor was the first antidepressant to actually help, but quickly started losing the stimulant aspect, and at this point it does nothing in that regard.

IBS general: my experience
TCA’s (tricyclic
antidepressants
) are used for IBS-D, and SSRI’s are used for IBS-C. It is important for your doctor to get this the right way round if you choose to try this.
