Next steps - known donor
So 3rd cycle resulted in BFN, time to move on I think to egg donor as quality just doesn't seem to to there (3x BC blasts and one 3day embryo transfer over 3 cycles) Low AMH and turning 40 in November. What are the next steps if we are moving towards using a known donor (Little sister has mentioned

Donating and Ibuprofen
For those of you who have donated are you able to take ibuprofen now? I have horrible menstrual cramps and ibuprofen is the only thing that helps. I take it 3-4 days out of the month. I've heard you can't take NSAIDs after donating. I'm worried if I donate then I won't be able to take ibuprofen for

*Sensitive* Low AMH Hope!
*Sensitive* Low AMH hope! I can’t quite believe this has happened but I have fallen pregnant for the second time naturally despite my history of a very low AMH level. It is very early days but I just wanted to share positivity and hope that a low AMH doesn’t mean you can’t get pregnant naturally and

subacute thyroiditis and pregnant
Hi all, I am 6 weeks pregnant and on the 1st of September I was diagnosed with subacute thyroiditis (bloods and ultrasound). I was admitted to A&E as I had a fever and a high hart rate (145). The first endocrinologist that saw me said that normally they would start with NSAIDs but as I am pregnant

natural ivf or natural modified- any good?
hi We have just had disappointment from our second round of IVF - our first round was our beautiful daughter. Our second round ended up in only one egg retrieved, which we have just been told, failed to fertilise. My husbands sperm they have said is ‘donor quality’ so I can only assume it is my

BFN- what to do next thoughts appreciated? 🤔
Long post sorry 😘 Morning everyone…so BFN from our last embryo from our 2nd collection and I’ve had a wee cry last night and moved my head into what next and would be really grateful for any thoughts or opinions please as I’m a bit stuck. I think today I’ve realised I’m strong enough to do one last

Should I go ahead with EC or cancel?
I’m really in two minds with what to do and I need some rational input please. Had a scan today (I’ve been stimming 10 days), am due to trigger tomorrow night. I’ve got 3 follicles at the correct size. I’ve had bloods drawn today to see if my hormone levels are high enough to predict there being mature

Ruxolitinib and NSAIDs
Would anyone care to comment on the Jakafi label warnings against using NSAIDs? There is reportedly an increased risk of bleeding. If this is really the case, I guess I'm limited to acetaminophen for pain management.

September cycle buddies
Hi All, I have an appointment with my consultant tomorrow with the hope that we will be going through an ivf cycle this month. We will need ICSI and I have low AMH. Really hoping it works. Anyone in a similar boat or looking to go through a cycle this month. Really find having buddies helpful in cheering

*sensitive* little man has arrived
We still feel incredibly luckily that we managed to avoid IVF treatment last minute, but it did not ever take away the worry throughout pregnancy that something was going to go wrong and that we would be straight back on the IVF train again. Fortunately little man arrived last Thursday by unplanned

Age 43, AMH and AFC ok. High or Low dose stimulation? Hysteroscopy? Additional tests?
Hi all, I've approached 2 clinics in Greece. Each have offered very different protocols. A - One in Athens is suggesting clomid (x3 a day) with perhaps 150 menopur added on, aiming for better quality eggs. They say I have polystic type ovaries (not the syndrome) They are also saying I need a hysteroscopy

NK cell and sperm dna fragmentation test results
We've been on a break for the last 6months due to waiting times to change clinics. The next round will be our 4th round and have had bfn each time except round one which was a blighted ovum. All tests have come back normal (except low amh) therefore unexplained. We've just paid to have nk cell test

New research on NSAID's and inflammation
From Rhonda Patrick, PHD. Can chronic use of anti-inflammatory agents paradoxically promote chronic inflammation through compensatory host response? https://www.foundmyfitness.com https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15922118/ From her newsletter: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs

Frustrated and hopeless....
I just wanted to vent and share with people who might be going through something similar. I am nearly 35 and have been waiting for a date for my excision surgery since November. They think my endo is now stage 4 and in my bowels, bladder and ureters. Despite being at the top of this waiting list
