Protocol tips for low AMH?
Hi everyone, just finished my 2nd cycle (just turned 43, low AMH, ok FSH, base follicle count of about five total). 2nd cycle: Had a 5 day fresh transfer of a ‘good’ rated embryo, sadly without success. 6 follicles, 5 eggs, 5 fertilised, one blastocyst, on long protocol. 1st cycle: no transfer, 5

Low HCG resulted in 4th failed FET
Hello everyone 🌸, Let me begin by appreciating this forum where all our emotional roller coaster rides are captured and supported. With this 4th failed FET of a 5AA embryo, a new fear has surfaced. I waited anxiously to test on 8dp5dt, where I noticed a faint positive 🌈, accompanied by a digital

Discharged ...boo!
Hi I've had my report through the post of my recent phone appointment and, as I suspected after the conversation ended ,I have been discharged from Proff Osmans clinic. Thinking about it,I'm concerned. I have had an AF event on 6/6/24 and another 30/7/24 which I was able to eventually stop with an extra

Are supplements always a good thing? Can we believe the claims and are they REALLY safe - after all, they are natural aren't they?
We do get a lot of posts asking about whether this supplement or the other will help get off pred or deal with this symptom or that problem. Many are herbal. People think they are "natural" so must be safer than prescribed medications. In fact, the opposite is true. Prescribed medications are subject

Colonoscopy June 2024 - No polyps...but
I first noticed blood in the toilet December 2023. I had my colonoscopy done June 2024, cleanest colon he's ever seen he said LOL. Yay for that! It's now August 2024, and for the last 2-3 weeks, I have had bright red blood in the toilet again, only in the morning, which is also the only time I "go

minimum for PGTA?

First cycle, scan on Monday
hi everyone, I’ve only recently joined this site and it is so helpful reading all of your experiences. I am currently in the middle of my first cycle. I am 38, never been pregnant, and my AMH in January was 3.1. My partner has an 18 year old daughter from a previous relationship. I’m not sure what

Tenosynovitis in wrists
Tenosynovitis in both wrists. On methotrexate and hydroxychloroqine. Steriod injection in bum helped everything except wrists... Any wise words...? I'm finding I'm exhausted all the time - I guess gritting of teeth 24/7 thru the pain. In the past no NSAIDs or painkillers have worked for me. Even tramadol

Pergoveris or meriofort?
After 2 failed ICSI cycles we had a consultation with another clinic today who have today suggested use of pergoveris or meriofort for next cycle to inc number of eggs. Been on ovaleap so far. Produced 5 eggs cycle one and 7 eggs cycle two. AMH 10, I'm 38. We have known male factor and using surgically

Feeling disheartened 6/21 at day1 so far
I’m feeling really disheartened after only 6/21 made it to day1 fertilisation today. I had my egg collected yesterday which resulted in 21 follicles, in which 14 were mature and 6 made it to fertilisation. I know 6 is a good number but I know this will only diminish even further. Any ideas why

When Your AF Meds Crash the Pain Relief Party
I am currently on a waitlist for a total knee replacement (TKR) and have been diagnosed with paroxysmal atrial flutter/atrial fibrillation (AF/AFL). Before the surgery, I plan to have an in-depth conversation with the anesthesiologist regarding the strong pain medications (opioids) typically prescribed

TENS machine, AFl / Afib and aches and pains.
Hi, I wonder if anyone uses a TENS machine for hip and let muscle pain if you also have AFl or AFib? Because of taking blood thinners, most 'normal' painkillers are ruled out because they contain NSAIDs, leaving only really paracetamol for general pain. Or, if not, what do you use to help moderate

AMH discrepancies - I am 43 years old
Hi everyone Wanted to flag in case this might apply to you, if you had your tests done abroad. I did all mine in India in April, which said my AMH was 0.31. Yet I also had 9 follicles. At stims in July, I had 6 and produced 5 healthy eggs, 4 fertilised and I made 3 good day 6 blasts. The consultant

Sorry tale
On Wednesday I got knocked flying by next door's dog. Fell backwards onto gravel and the left arm took the brunt. Waited 10 hrs for ambulance. They said go to A&E by car and fitted me with a sling to ease pain. I was fitted with a brace for broken humerus and broken other bone under gas and air and
