AMH discrepancies - I am 43 years old

Hi everyone

Wanted to flag in case this might apply to you, if you had your tests done abroad.

I did all mine in India in April, which said my AMH was 0.31.

Yet I also had 9 follicles.

At stims in July, I had 6 and produced 5 healthy eggs, 4 fertilised and I made 3 good day 6 blasts.

The consultant yesterday at LWC Brighton highlighted that my egg numbers are too good for such a low AMH.

Turns out the units of measurement are different between India and the UK.

UK calculation says it's actually 2.2.

It's given me some hope and now less need to rush, so I can have 3 months to let Ubiquinol and DHEA take effect.

My first EC was unsuccessful and certainly not helped by feeling rushed, numerous admin errors my clinic made causing significant unnecessary stress, and going abroad for the EC alone, even being rushed out after my first ever sedation and left to book an Uber. I can't go through any further EC alone for the sake of my mental health, so am now seeking a UK clinic.

That said, I'm looking at Serum in Cyprus which claims a specialism for older women. Awaiting a free consultation with them. I won't be doing PGTA testing again.

3 Blasts is a good number at your age. Will you be PGTA testing them? Also did you use any supplements before the last egg collection?

Eggs collected in July were from April and I was taking no supplements at all at that time I did my first fertility test and had a massive shock....so the IVF journey began and the clinic rushed me into a bit. I only started on DHEA and the rest of the essentials in mid June.

All 3 blasts were abnormal, according to PGTA, which isn't a conclusive test. My clinic has "discarded" them all. It's been so traumatic.

Won't be PGTA testing in future, which means I need to move to another clinic.

I'm looking in the UK to save on the travel stress and I can't do another EC alone, for the sake of my mental health, which has already been hammered.
