Mum in Greek ICU
My mum lives in Corfu and has had a brain
aneurysm
. She is currently on mainland Greece in ICU. It is awful not being able to speak the language and they try with English but it is hard. I am with my sister and dad and we are moving from apartment to apartment so we can visit her.

Memory loss
My husband is recovering from a ruptured
aneurysm
in his brain and is doing very well. The main issue is his memory - he has none at all at the moment. He knows who I am but can’t remember his way to the toilet or back to his bed and gets very confused.

Refusing to eat..
My husband is in hospital following a burst
aneurysm
and we are now 9 weeks into his stay. He is recovering slowly but surely but has absolutely no interest in food at all, in fact it makes him agitated! We have tried every technique but he just will not eat.

Ears ringing and I am worried!
I read online that it can be a sign that there is an
aneurysm
(obviously unruptured) in head and my brain goes to that first! I am scared as can be now!

Hello and need a good neuro
I have a range of small anomalies from an old ruptured
aneurysm
to early onset white matter changes, elevated CSF protein and odd things with blood. Nothing that adds up to much.

Afib no cure?
Hi I have just been for a check up to see my EP and get results of echo cardiogram and 24 hour heart monitor as well as discuss my worry about the failed cryoablation last year which resulted in a blue light ambulance to St Thomas hospital after a pseudo
aneurysm
.

Recoiling for SAH that happened on 12th December 2013.
I came home from work yesterday to find 2 letters from my neurologist explaining that the recent scan it shows the small remnant at the base of the
aneurysm
has increased slightly over the last 12 months.

Aortic root replacement
I'm due to have the above op which involves replacement of aortic valve with mechanical one, and replacement of a section of my aorta which has an
aneurysm
. I'm meeting the surgeon tomorrow to discuss it. I have a bicuspid aortic valve which is the cause of the problem.

My husband suffered a ruptured
aneurysm
5 weeks and is doing amazingly well. I am struggling with updates from docs/nurses and have had to go back to work full time as he is self employed and therefore not earning while he is poorly.

Coil being fitted tomorrow
As my coil to brain
aneurysm
is being filled. Then I hope my life will start to get back to normal again. Any advice or any information on how you lovely people felt right after operation would be a great help. Thank you.

Coiled anrysm
My
aneurysm
has just been coiled thank god! But basically I was sent home with no information about what/how/ I’d feel. If it’s a normal feeling and so on. Even not knowing how long I keep support socks on. Also the emotional side of things. No help what so ever other than your gp saying.
