Sensitive post: BFP after 7th transfer but Prednisolone immediately stopped
Hi, yesterday I had the news I have been waiting for, finally a BFP after my 7th transfer (my first BFP in almost 3 years which ended in miscarriage). Whilst I am over the moon, I am also filled with fear. I have no more BETA tests booked in so next step is viability scan in 3 weeks. This morning I

Ferritin
I know that Ferritin is stored iron but I’m a bit confused about how Ferritin and iron correlate. Is it possible to have Ferritin in range but low iron - and what would be considered optimal Ferritin? My level has just been tested and has gone down from a stable 88 to 34 I’m sorry to be so dumb

Needing some input after gastroscope
Hi all: So I had a gastroscope yesterday and today I’m riddled with extreme fatigue. I’ve had a gastroscope before and never experienced such fatigue. The other times there was an anesthesiologist that gave me drugs to put me to sleep. This time an egotistic doctor informed me the procedure would be

Barrigel is now preferred over "SpaceOAR" gel?
Consulted by video with the doctor who is supposed to install my SpaceOAR in preparation for my IMRT. His first words were "we don't use SpaceOAR gel anymore. We use Barrigel." He explains it has fewer side effects but the same radiation absorption characteristics. Here is what "UroToday" says:

I’ve received my latest blood results and they seem quite random compared to my last set of results. My GP has asked to speak to me and review them but wanted to ask for some advice from the brilliant people here first… For ref, my levo was increased from 125 to 150mcg in February 24. I’ve been feeling

My Gabapentin Dilemma
Help! I need some advice regarding my Gabapentin treatments. This is my first post so I hope I don’t ramble too much. I’m over 70 years old with RLS for over 30-40 years. Fortunately I don’t have RLS attacks during the day but have them almost every night after I fall asleep. On high doses of Gabapentin

A few Things ….
1. I had an ACTH test yesterday as my recent cortisol level was low. I was told my TSH would be tested but not T4 and T3. However when I got there, it was a full thyroid profile being done. I had breakfast in the morning but no caffeine. I had a small bowl of plain porridge and nothing else, except water

Update to last post: What does T4 do?
Hi Thanks for all the help when I asked the question about T4, while prepping for my appointment. The appointment went well, I got a GP with ears! GP wanted to discuss the last endo letter saying that I can't have T4 increase unless I agree to give up my "self medicating habit." I explained that I

Newbie trying to get off Pram
I've been on 2x 0.088 for a while. Compared to what I've been reading on the forum it sounds a low dose....I think.I started augmenting so managed to get Gaba from GP the other day. GP said I could come straight off Pram but I've taken 1 x 0.088 tonight with 300mg gaba. It's 02.15 and my legs are going

Thyroid Education Day, Birmingham (Edgbaston), January 26th
https://www.thyroideducationday.com This is the first event of this kind. Is someone here from Thyroid U.K. or anyone else who is a member of this group attending? Seems vital a) to have someone to put our case there and b) to have a record of discussions and developments, for current and future
