Newly diagnosed
Hey y'all. I was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis, I had an acute attack and was hospitalized for 11 days. I've never had issues before now that I knew of, but upon doing a CAT scan they discovered a 9cm cyst on my pancreas. I don't drink, but I did eat quite poorly unfortunately. I had to wait for

PBC - high Amylase level
Just had my latest blood results. Amylase tested for 1st time so I don’t have anything to compare it with 201 (normal range 0 - 100) Anyone have any comments? Don’t like the idea of pancreatitis!

Hello everyone, I had my gallbladder removed in 2007. Over the past 3+ years I have noticed my skin gradually becoming more yellow. I had what I think was a biliary attack last November, extreme pain vomitting etc. I have been very unwell since, losing about 2 stones in weight since (not i tended

Anyone else with elevated blood amylase results with acid reflux?
My blood
amylase
test
came back high (133) but it looks like raised
amylase
is associated with pancreatitis and I don't appear to have symptoms of that. Getting a call from my GP to discuss results in a few days but wondered if this is common with acid reflux? Thanks

high cholesterol
Hi. My daughter, 43, has cholesterol level of 10.3. Her GP is utterly unconcerned. She is tested for hypthyroidism (as this is prevalent in the family) and other things, but she tells me all other tests are normal. Why isn't her doctor bothered about this cholesterol level. Mine is five point something

T3 Dosage
Hi everyone My GP referred me to endocrinology. They called me a few weeks ago & suggested I lower my dose of T3 , I take 75mcg of cytomel. I was advised to take 50mcg. I asked the reason why. He said it was because t3 has long term effects of osteoporosis. I feel like 75mcg is the perfect dose

T3 Dose Help
I'm due to see an endocrinologist privately tomorrow for the first time. I've been on levo for 13 years after a TT for ThyCa. I've never taken T3 so I'll be asking to try it since I've felt rubbish for 13 years! So my question is what kind of dose of T3 would I expect to take initially? I'm on 150mg

So about 14 days ago I started having aches in my testicles. Five days ago or so I went to the GP and got proscribed antibiotics. Awaiting an STI test but doubt it is as its been months since i had sex and it was protected. The aches seem to have gone for the most part but annoyingly, the top of my

Can I source Thybon Henning without a prescription?
Hello, would you be able to DM me suggestions for obtaining Thybon Henning T3 without a prescription (if that is at all possible). Also, would be good if anyone has had a positive experience with a doc who is willing to try T3 only or one who is clued up on conversion problems. I have been battling

Views wanted on results for poor T4 converter
Hello. Just reaching out to see if there are others with the same symptoms as me. I have had hypothyroidism for about 26 years. I couldn't tolerate thyroxine and tried several brands for years. I was eventually told I didn't need any meds so had a terrible time of it. My NHS doc eventually restarted
