Post egg retrieval care for fresh transfer

GranolaLoverBaby profile image

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my post egg retrieval prescription from my first fresh embryo transfer to see if it makes sense to you all or if we may be missing something which could have resulted in my transfer being unsuccessful. My drugs were as follows:

- Provames or Progynova 4mg per day

- Utrogestan vaginal 200mg 1 in the morning and 2 in the evening

- Duphaston 10mg 3 times a day

Also, did you get a progesterone test before transfer? If yes, at how many days and under what conditions (Morning? Before progesterone pessaries? Etc.). I did not get one but it seems from my research that values above 80 automatically mean negative pregnancy test and I was wondering if it might be useful to pursue it privately.

Thank you all very much

yes I had a progesterone test day before transfer so that they could adjust dose if needed. I think it was done 6 hours after my last dose.
