My thyroid story-Part 1, Thyroiditis
My story is likely very similar to many others on here but I thought it might help someone in their own experience with thyroid disease or maybe they can give me some pointers on what to expect in the future. Back in November 2022, both my husband and I got a very bad virus and were both sick for quite

I’ve been given amoxicillin by dentist is it okay to take it? I know it’s a very common antibiotic. Post heart attack i have bits of PAF, NSVT and SVT. Im on usual heart medications and riveroxaban. Anyone have experience with this? Thank you.

is amoxicillin safe after heart attack?
I’ve been prescribed amoxicillin for a dental abscess but i know the dentist didn’t check if it’s okay after heart attack or with arrhythmias. Anyone here had amoxicillin?

Discitis nearly killed me. I suspect streptococcus B was injected into me by Hormone injection for PCa
I have PCa. I am also immune suppressed due to kidney transplant. In February I started hormone injections due to BCR. A couple of weeks later I started to get back pain. Doctor prescribed pain killers. After about 6 weeks, many blood tests, consultations and an MRI scan I was diagnosed with discitis

Dad was admitted into hospital 5 days after chemo due to Neutropenia
Hi all, My dad his first chemo appointment on May 15th. He was doing well the first few days but by Thursday evening he was feeling quite a bit of pain and had a fever. Friday morning took him to ER as fever was above 38. They did blood test and chest X-rays and both came back fine and fever decreased

Doxy side effects.
I am on the fourth day of Doxycycline after always having Amoxycillin and have found that after the first (double) dose I immediately vomited all the water back but kept the capsules down. Although I have not done it again I have felt sick immediately after taking the dose and find that this is apparently

Triple therapy and Prednisolone
As some of you may recall, I am doing (hopefully) the final taper, slowly reducing from 0.5 mg Prednisolone. I have just done 1:4 step and was feeling fine except that a few weeks ago, I have been diagnosed with symptomatic H Pylori infection and need to take triple therapy ( 2 antibiotics for 7 days

Life with bronchiectasis
I’ve been reading this site for a while now and thought it about time I introduced myself and let you know my experiences. I’m a 77 year old married man, thin, never smoked, living in the south of England. I ramble 10 miles every Wednesday, play golf weekly and every year go camping in France in an open
