amoxicillin, side effect, severe joint pain

My godson took amoxicillin and is experiencing severe joint pain. Any advice on cause, treatment?

Hi curious1189, sorry to hear your godson is going through difficulties at the moment, what was the amoxicillin for? Infection I hope and hope that has been sorted out, unsure why he is having joint pains and maybe needs to go back to the GP, I have had joint pain for years and take a combination of Co-dydramol from GP and also herbal remedy of primrose oil capsules they are helping a great deal now, not perfect but getting there, hope this helps and good luck
