Has anyone had much success age 40 with AMH around 5 pgmol? When we started this journey at 37, my AMH was 9. After a failed round of IVF with 3 x 5AA embryos that all failed to impant followed by a natural pregnancy that ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks in October, we are about to take steps back to one last try at IVF. I've just got my AMH results and I'm not sure if it's hopeful or not. Also, considering CREATE mild stimulation as they claim it's better for low egg count but I'm not sure. Interested to hear other people's experiences.

Hi Amy, you MH is decent! However I think looking at AMH in isolation may not be informative enough. How's your antrali follicle count, how's your partner numbers, etc. we're your embryos PGT-A tested? Because age is a factor here I'd test all embryos you obtain so you can pick those genetically normal to give them a chance to implant. I'm sure you'll get plenty of other suggestions but I just wanted to say, I'd give it another shot and I would follow doctor's advice. Xx wishing you all the best
I've got a scan booked in a couple of weeks to check my follicle count and blood flow to ovaries 🤞We didn't PG test our first round of embryos but definitely will this time having had a miscarriage with down syndrome. Thanks for well wishes and reply x
I think your AMH is good for 40 years old. At just 35 years old when trying for a sibling, mine was 4.0 and we had a successful cycle. My youngest was a grade A blastocyst and will be 4 in April.I think you still have a great chance. Good luck!
That's is reassuring. Thank you for taking the time to reply x
