Chest pain?
Sorry to be a pain myself, but the times I was hospitalised I was woken by a mega pains in the chest which got worse as time went on waiting for ambulance. After three visits I was diagnosed with Af. Has anyone else had chest pains thinking it was heart attack. These are real scary and then panic sets

Loss of memory and strength after heart attack
I had a heart attack about 3 years ago but when I went back to work I found that I had lost a hell of a lot of strength and still have not regained it,also my memory when trying to diagnose a machine fault which I previously knew had gone and I had to go back to the beginning of the fault finding process

If you have time Please read my rhyme
I'd have liked a life of simple pleasures Filled with hope and memories to treasure That's what I'd hoped for but not got Instead it seems Health Anxiety is my lot I'm so scared of dying and not existing The terror of which there is no resisting And so I'm trapped by endless fear And my life is cloudy

NHS HEALTH CHECK HAVE YOU HAD ONE?
Adults aged between 40 and 74 in England invited for this health check. Local Authorities in charge of it seems it's a public health programme aimed at preventing and identifying individuals at high risk of developing or having heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes and certain types

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well. I am posting an older post what Emjay had put on previously. Cheating as I am off to dentist in half an hour. :) :D Stopping smoking is the single most important thing that you can do to improve your health. That is a fact. Unfortunately, not

What a day
Pete has had some heart pain which he thought was angina and kept taking his tablets. Doctor at his cardio appointment today thinks it could be the stents that are failing (had heart attack with 3 stents 6 years ago) or it could be the sarcoidosis so Pete will have to have an MRI scan of the heart. If

I have just been diagnosed with bi pulmonary emboli and can't understand why I have got this.
I am a very fit, slim 52 year old woman. Never smoked, low cholesterol, low blood pressure and its not in the family. I have had flu and chest infection for 4 weeks and wonder if this has caused it.

NHS Health checks? 'helping you prevents heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease'. comments?
NHS HEALTH CHECKS Every person in England between 40 and 75 is going to be offered an NHS Health Check, 'helping you prevents heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease'. Essentially it involves checking your weight, height, blood pressure and cholesterol -with a diabetes and kidney blood test
