Family history of stroke
I have a Chade score of 1, no other health problems. My older sister had a TIA Attack last night and I have another sister who had a massive stroke years ago. My question is should I be on anticoagulants due to family history?

Mad anxiety
What is the longest a heart attack can go on for? Mine has now been going on for 2.5 years. Impressive right. Dodgy breathing and a throbbing left hand are today’s symptoms. Like my left hand and even my arm are so numb now it’s getting ridiculous.

Heart attack caused by AF episode?
I had a very mild heart attack while hospitalized for an extended AF episode. I went to the ER after I detected an episode 1st thing in the morning. I went in only because I feared it might have started while I was asleep as much as 7 hours earlier. My cardiologist seemed to think it strange to have

Yes....but 5 times greater than what exactly?
Firstly, I must make it absolutely clear that I am not medically trained and the following is my interpretation of what we were told last evening with regard to this important question. Other members of the forum were also present, so I'm sure if they think I got the message wrong they will comment,

Does hidden diabetes cause coronary heart disease?

Minor heart attack
Hi, I am 52 and been told I have at some point in last few months suffered a minor heart attack. I have a myocardial perfusion test coming up. I have no heart problems in my family, and I'm not overweight. I am quite shocked about it and worried, hoping that my test shows nothing serious. Any reassuring

How to move on
Hi everyone, I hope you had a good day. Today I made progress and went outside after being homebound for a month (except doctor appointments). I found that exercise always made me feel better before but I am scared to go now as I fear that I will have a panic attack in the gym or that I will pass out

Enough to rule out heart?
Hello everyone (: so about a week before Christmas I had a panic attack, thought I was having a heart attack, left arm would go numb, dizziness, some chest pain and left armpit pain . Had an ECG done on the ambulance and the ecg was perfect, so I went back inside. A couple days later I felt pressure
