Hello, I'm new here. My 3 year old has had numerous different diagnoses thrown at her during her short life--born with hip dysphasia and hypotonia, has been extremely sick and in drs and hospitals more than out these past 3 years, history of asthma and unexplained stopping breathing, autism spectrum and anxiety with suspected adhd (too young to officially diagnose), and most recently reflux. There has also been a question of failure to thrive as well as SCAD and MCAD (though she was never officially followed for or diagnosed with SCAD and/or MCAD). Most recently we have discovered that she is only a partial responder to some vaccinations and that she has too many double negative t cells. We were supposed to be getting an "urgent referral to rheumatology" but a month later just got a call that they are not taking new patients and her immunologist refuses to help further. There is also a question of Pandas. Digging into her records today, I found these test results that I never even knew she had the tests done let alone ever given the test results. ALK Phos is low (140 u/l), alt is low (16 u/l), bun/creatinine ratio is high (48.15), chloride slightly high (108 mmol/L), globulin was 1.9 g/dL, decreased platelet estimate, moderate reactive lymphocytes, mcv is slightly raised at 85.1 fL, Monocyte no is high at 1,02 10*3/uL, monocytes % is high at 15.6%, neturophil no is low at 1.08, neutrophils % is low at 16.5%, platelet count is low at 180 10*3/uL, RDW is low at 11.5%, MCV is slightly high at 85.1 fL, platelet count is low at 180 10*3/UL, and RDW is low at 12.1%. HGB is high at 13, HCT is high at 39.4, absolute basophils is high at 0.12, lymphocytes are high at 44.7, reactive lympocytes were present, 11% of the lymphocytes were double negative t cells (may be gama delta whatever that means), segmented neutrophils are low at 46.6,. I am hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on all of this and provide us with the next direction to go in? I am completely lost with trying to care for her and beyond frustrated that the drs won't help! Thank you in advance!

I found that my primary doctor doesn't have time to dwell on test results. But I have found that chiropractors or functional med doctors will help you decifer what may be going on. They will also look at the root cause instead of just the symptoms.

Hello, I am sorry to read about your little one.
The forum does not have a medical team. Depending on where you live, I wonder if your area might have an asthma coalition that may have some experts to assist you.
