Pseudo Bulbar Palsy??
If I remember correctly, they had listed
ALS
, MSA, MS, PSP, and some others. I'm assuming that those are the symptoms in which the GP has most concern. Not a real helpful bit of info, but I thought it may be of interest to some.:) Joan

My journey began about 6 months ago when after a 10 day course of Augmentin I noticed that my urine was a bright orange and I was itching all over my body. I also had incredibly bad indigestion along with constipation. This lasted about a week and I went in to see my physician. The labs came back with

More tests, having strange muscle movements, twitches, fasiculations, another test for
ALS
, now it's getting scary, but no it wasn't that. Finally a neuro gave me sinemet, IT WORKED! We now knew. We were pretty sure what it was, it is so easy to research on the internet now.

New here, need reassurance and what now?
I have had cancer, stroke, heart attack, brain tumor, HIV, ms,
ALS
, the list does go on. The question is what do I do now? I have seen numerous doctors, numerous a&e visits. Hospital appointments. I've had ECG, bloods tests and most recently an MRI scan which all came back no abnormalities.

Got a phone call from the divisional manager
ALS
o she says they have started an investigation which will take to late December/early January BUT it would be very thorough and brings up management of emergency beds. So she made m feel not only I was justified in my complaint but they are grateful i did it and I have a date in 10 days!

Had the appointment now
I was told I didnt have pbc by my GP when she discovered the positive AMA and normal LFT in August this year. Despite this I was referred to a consultant for further tests and since then I have waited around on nhs lists hoping to see a liver specialist, but with the prospect of a 5 month wait i decided
