Hi everyone I’m new here.
I’m hoping to get support with coming to terms with my constant struggle with food. I’m going to be 60 this year and I’m tired of ‘being good or bad’ around food. I just want to be at ease with it, enjoy my food, eat from physical hunger and not emotional hunger and eat food that nurtures and feeds

Complementary therapies
Happy Friday all! I hope everyone is coping OK with the heat. Just a gentle reminder that whilst complementary therapies for asthma (alongside your usual asthma treatment) can be greatly helpful for some, what has worked for you may not work for someone else and could actually trigger their asthma, so

So frustrated...

Hay fever
I’ve had hay fever for about 6 Years now. The last couple of Years it hasn’t been that bad but this Year it’s through the roof. My symptoms are lethargy, feeling sick. Some days I feel as though I’m wading through mud and can’t get out of bed. I take an antihistamine and a nasal spray. Just wondered

Allergic to inhalers. Is there an alternative?
Can I be
allergic
to them? They don;t seem to be controlling my
asthma
anyway. I seem to be stuck on coughing and trying to clear my throat but I cannot get enough air in there to cough anything out. Gone on for weeks now and my neck muscles ache with continuous attempts to clear it.

wearing a mask for work
hey guys, this post isn't a question mostly just a rant about face masks. So I'm a waitress at an outdoor dining restaurant and I have to wear a mask the entire time I'm at work because I have contact with so many people. We're very short staffed right now because of covid which means I am the only waitress

Any info on Drugs that interfere with asthma and COPD?
I have an asthma-COPD overlap. Several drugs seem to worsen my breathing. Proton pump inhibitor (stomach acid suppression) is one of them (sometimes even antibiotics). Though the interference of asthma drugs with heart disease is well documented, the interference of other drugs with Lung disease is not

Flu Vaccination
Has the coronavirus pandemic made you more likely to get the flu vaccine later this year? It might be July but we’re already beginning to think about this year’s flu vaccination programme. You may be wondering if the flu vaccine will still be important for people with asthma this year and the answer

First cold and Asthma
I've got a cold. It's the first one since I got diagnosed with Asthma. My chest feels like somethings sitting on it, my breathing is faster, I keep coughing, my throat hurts, I have more flam and my nose is blocked. I don't know if my blue inhaler with help and I don't have a written asthma plan yet.
