I have an allergy to Nuts have no idea what I can have I’m new to not having nuts

Hi Jess, my nut allergy was discovered when I was very young and essentially was very careful with avoiding any food containing nuts.

I had a few times as I got older and left home when I accidentally ate something with nuts in and a doctor at A&E told me I may not be allergic to all nuts. So I arranged with my GP to have tests at an allergy clinic and discovered that I was severely allergic to 4 types of nut and the rest were mid to mild.

Because I had been used to avoiding ALL nuts it wasn’t life transforming but does mean that any delicious looking deserts containing a nut that I’m not allergic too, I can eat now!

I suggest you have the allergy test for nuts to get a better grasp on which ones you’re allergic too.
