Aldactone

Wondering if anyone is on diuretics and Ibrutinib, lasix, Aldactone, HTCZ, and your thoughts on this. Started diuretic for blood pressure, drinking 80 ounces of water a day, definitely flushing out cells, but not I am staying hydrated

Wondering if anyone is on diuretics/water pill such as lasix or aldactone, while taking ibrutinib/ BTK inhibitors. Wondering how this affects hydration. Confused if we drink lots of water to flush out bad cells, or to stay hydrated.

I was Aldactone 300mg and Lasix 120mg which controlled my Ascites but caused my Creatinine to rise to 1.53 and BUN 53 so my Doctor reduced Diuretics to 100 / 40 bringing Creatinine back to normal. Now my does is being slowly increased. Has anyone else experienced this, thanks in advance.

I have quite a bit of fluid in my belly and my doctor has me on Aldactone. However the dosage seems too low to me and I have not started pee away my fluid. My doctor is being conservative which is good but I'm convinced that to feel better I need to get rid of fluid ASAP.

In November I was put on Cardizem, Xarelto and Aldactone. I now have severe pitting edema in both feet and legs. My doctor now suspects liver disease, which I have suspected for years. My concern right now is my 'leaking' legs. Really! My legs are leaking clear serum.

My 93 yr old mother was recently put on 60 mgs of lasix and low dose aldactone (25 mgs) because she gained 20 lbs in a month by just taking the lasix by itself. She has valve problems and chf. So after taking the aldactone for a few days, she is complaining of leg cramps and back pain.

The doctor already knows she is not tolerating aldactone, and this is why he removed this med and upped her dose of lasix from 60 to 80 mgs.

I’m talking Aldactone ( 75mg a day ) for a high testosterone for about 2 weeks now .

I’m taking Aldactone for about one week (for PCOS ) I wanna check my T4 and TSH level .

I was wondering if anyone is taking Aldactone for AF, I am on Felodil and Tritace but the E/P gave me a script for Aldactone on Monday and I need to take it if my BP goes above 140 systolic?
