Hypericum (St. John's Wort)
I have just been reading about homeopathic Hypericum and/or herbal St John's Wort extract for RLS. It is a well known remedy for anxiety/depression because of its action in calming the nerves. Apparently it can heal the inflammation of the nerves that produce RL symptoms. Has anyone tried it?

Just diagnosed and scared.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus because of symptoms and positive ANA. Last month I decided to get a second opinion because I felt as though my Rheumatologist was cold and wasn't helping. My new rheumy ran a series of tests and found that my liver enzymes were very high and I was again had a

Can’t get answers??!!
Hi everyone. I am 34 and was diagnosed with PCOS at 17. As I get older it gets worse. After my son was born 6yrs ago, it seems to get more painful and more cysts form. I have been worried for about 4 months now that I may have ovarian cancer. I have several symptoms and my grandmother had it as well.

Update on my dad-PSA not budging on Taxotere
Update on my dad.........just got labs back before getting his 3rd round of Taxotere. His Alkaline Phosphotase went from 1250 to 600!!! I was so happy about that but his PSA went from 20 to 21. His PSA was 20 before he started chemo. It’s not budging. Is this bad? Isn’t it a really good indication

MRE (Magnetic Resonance Elastography) "My Results" So much for trusting Biopsy and Ultrasound. Also... High ferritin may skew MRE score.
Hey friends, My Biopsy 2 years ago said "zero" evidence of PBC. My labs though said I had PBC. I was put on URSO since 2016. Only thing elavated for 2 years has been my Alk-phos. It fluctuated between 157-187 approx. Then Sept./Oct. this year, I felt nauseous and URQP. Labs jumped including AST & ALT

I'm venting...... 🙁
Hi everyone, I'm gonna apologize right now cause I'm venting. 😣 You don't have to read it. And thank you to the ones who stick it out. I'm sure my story is a familiar one. Being accurately staged? Is this something that can be done? I read about so many of us who have been told one thing by our doctors

Spinal cord stimulation process
I finally have an appointment to meet with a member of the Neuromodular team at SGH on Monday. I just wondered if anyone could advise me how long I will have to wait to have a trial if they assess me a suitable candidate?

Liver Function and Bisoprolol.
I am in permanent AF and it does seem reasonably well controlled with 7.5mg of bisoprolol and a pacemaker. My blood test results for liver function have been relatively normal but for raised tryglicerides for which I am prescribed Pravastatin and Omacor concentrated fish oil tables. Liver function tests

Have had several positive Ana tests over the last 10 years and now had extensive testing with my rheumatologist who assured me the last lot of tests would give them a definitive answer on lupus and as to what’s wrong with me. I have connective tissue disease, frozen shoulder and tendentious I hope I

Liver tests all high
I have had my gallbladder removed 20+ years ago. I got my blood tests from my pho last week and my alk phos was 175, my GGT 222, my alt and ast were elevated. I have no liver disease symptoms. I drink 3-4 drinks a week. What is it?
