Parkwalk
Hey Everyone I've just completed my first parkwalk, I missed running and did want to run it (I might have jogged a tiny bit) and my time was 51:28 which ironically was my first Parkrun time back in the summer, way before we even knew I had any heart issues. I had my GTN spray, Asthma inhaler and am

Maybe a sheep dip or biohazard fumigation chambers would do the trick š
Well, saw my GP again today as absolutely no better, certain symptoms leaning towards either new infection or the original not totally responding to the last antibiotics so getting a different one. Lungs now have air entry but crackling at the bases no results in the X-ray as yet. Heart seems to be behaving

Bevispi Aeroshere Inhaler
Hi folks I posted yesterday (I think :) does anyone use this inhaler? and how do you find using it ? I have been put on it instead of seretide but find it is making me a bit light headed for a couple of hours afterwards, Think the mucous production is reducing a little. Would appreciate a reply if you

Cough 14 weeks and sore throat
Hi, I had a cough for about 14 weeks. Saw a doctor about 4 weeks ago, gave me antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. Chest sounded clear. I was sent for a chest xray, which is clear. However I developed a feeling of tightness and sore throat and pressure and sought pain in my ears for about three weeks

This is a verrrry long post!! If anyone actually reads to the end you have my full respect Iām a returning member to the forum. I used to be active when I was being treated for severe asthma. Continuous never ending onslaught - still trying to be happy happy positive but š¤·āāļø
Been sick this time for 9 months, 2cardioversions, 3rd ablation 5wks ago. Had a few complications and still have the asthma I left hospital with. Until yesterday Iād been NSR but the asthma is not letting up. The inhalers, steroids etc have put the heart rate up to continuous 100-117 which is now exhausting

Full removal of thyroid and parathyroid anxiety levels very high
hello, I hope someone can help. in August 2022, I had my total thyroid and total parathyroid removed, they were both so enlarged that they were suffocating me, this was only discovered when the operation was performed, though I had been suffering serious breathing problems for the preceding year and

I learnt something last week which is worth sharing. I had to go to a and e a while ago when on holiday. It was at a big city hospital and a couple of days after leaving hospital they asked me to return and see a respiratory nurse. I was keen as my gp practice has lost its asthma nurse, which is probably

Inhalers- and value for money?
Some years ago I was advised , that in order to check the contents of my inhaler I should remove the pressurised phial from the applicator and suspend the phial in a tall glass of water. If it sinks ,the indications are there is medicine present and if it floats there is probably little or no medicine

Post Covid Queries!
Hi! I tested positive for Covid 2 weeks agoā¦ itās caused an asthma flare but luckily I got prescribed steroids for a week which, along with my Fostair and Ventolin inhalers, kept things stable enough for me to stay home. My GP signed me off for a further week after my 1st week of self certifying, however
