5 Year old with asthma
Hello all. My son is 5 years old (6 in February) and was diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago. He was a very normal healthy baby boy. When he was age 2 he started getting sick literally every single day after he ate any type of food. For a year they gave him steroids and he gained a lot of weight. At age

Changed my consultant
From a few days I am experiencing bronch exacerbation with increased sputum which is dark. This time I decided to go to a different doctor who is also a bronch specialist. He told that I will have to have azithromycin long term; 6-8 months per year. The next thing he did is to change my inhaler from

Morning Peeps 😀 I hope this post finds you as well as can be 🥰 This morning finds me with little to no energy or willpower. I am off work with an awful infection/virus - chesty cough, full of cold and wiped out. I am on my 3rd course of antibiotics, 2nd course of steroids and now a blue inhaler to

salted OJ and assisting lung function
if anyone here is taking their cough medicine, inhalers, plenty of fluids and still struggling a very good hack is salted OJ quite regularly - adds a decent amount of potassium that is not typically added via supplements. Boy, as soon as you have a glass you can notice an immediate help. Too much sugar

Privatisation?
Just had a respiratory review at the local surgery last week, not with the usual team of respiratory nurses but an outside ‘doc’, no testing/ spirometer just a drive supposedly instigated by government to review meds and change/ consolidate inhalers. After the chat I received a pdf letter summarising

Advice pleaae
Hi hopefully someone give me some advice or reassurance. I’ve suffered with IBS for along time, several years ago I developed acid reflux, had an Endoscopy which confirmed some scarring, given medication which in most has helped. Fast forward 8/9 weeks ago I developed a barking cough for about 16/18

Asthma and Covid Experiences Please!
Hi, so after feeling pretty rubbish yesterday with a sore throat, spiking temp and barking sounding cough, today I have tested positive for Covid on a lateral flow after avoiding the damn thing for 3 years! I have asthma, so am understandably worrying! I am waiting for a call back from GPs as my peak

Fostair
Hi, I don't often post much on here, but I'm trying to find out if the Fostair inhaler causes acid reflux. My husband had mild Asthma and mild COPD. He stopped using his Fostair for a few days to test it and had none, but he can't be without his inhaler. So we need to know for sure if it is the cause
