AMH 30 but only 7 follicles?
Hello! I’m age 39, all general female fertility tests came back OK and with AMH 30 pmol (above average for my age). We have male factor infertility and are having IVF with ICSI. I only had 7 follicles at first scan and egg collection - (7 collected, 6 mature/injected, 5 fertilised, 4 top grade embryos

AMH Fluctuations
I had my AMH tested last July and it was 5pmol. I had it tested this month and it's 8.5pmol. Has anyone seen an increase like this? Took me by surprise today. I felt under pressure last year to get a move on with IVF but they've failed so far.

IVF round 2 - failed
I've tested this morning 10DP5DT & my test is stark white negative. I'm numb, disappointed, sad... I don't know what I could have done differently. My lining was good, the blast was rated good - I was really hopeful & now it's over. First round (Meriofert) was 3 mature eggs retrieved, 2 fertilised, 1

Low AMH / One egg - success story (sensitive)
I just wanted to share my news as I know I spent many many hours scrolling through these forums looking for stories to give me hope. After 15 months of trying (and failing) to conceive we found out I had very low AMH which was rapidly declining (went from 4.8 to 1.7 in about 7 months) and my partner

My endo management kit
I've unknowingly had endo for about 10 years, dismissed early on I just ignored the fact my periods sometimes felt like a miscarriage. About 3 years ago it got so bad I couldn't ignore it anymore and 2 years ago I left work. In these two years I've tried everything I could think of to change it. I can't

First FET - how chilled to be after?
Hi all, Just starting our 2nd IVF attempt with a FET, with our only frozen embryo. We’ve been trying for 2 years, tests show I have a low AMH of around 4, and husband had varicocele causing low motility, count & shape. We had ICSI in spring this year which sadly didn’t implant, so really nervous about

It feels like it has been 2 weeks already lol. I've been having slight cramps the past few days & yesterday had a teenie bit of brown spotting but putting that down to the transfer. Due to test on 29th July - I don't think I'll test early as it bursts the hope bubble & I want to stay in it as long

MTFHR and possible immune disorder
hello everyone, I have been down and frustrated to say the least on this journey. IVF seems to have taken over my life. I spoke to a doctor in US to get a second opinion was I wasn’t happy with my old clinic. I am going to be 44 and I have been told by this doctor that I may have premature ovarian

IVF options
Hi, I just wondered if anyone has heard of/used mild or natural IVF rather than traditional IVF? Especially if you’re over 40? I’d not heard of these previously, so it’s all new to me, and we have been told given my age (42) and the fact my AMH level is low etc, this could potentially have more chance

hormonal stimulation or natural cycle IVF
hello, I’m 43 and with anti-muller hormone at 0.48 my doctor says I need to do a light hormonal stimulation so that she gets sufficient quantity of eggs retrieval. My dear is triggering hormonal cancers by the injections. Initially I thought I would do a natural cycle ivf (no hormonal injections), but

Low AMH Success Stories
I’m hoping to hear from people in a similar situation who have low AMH and a small amount of follicles. Anyone had success in this situation? I’m 40 and have had three cycles (current in the 2WW). Each round I’ve only ever had 2 or 3 mature follicles though and end up with 2 early blastocysts at day

letrozole- no dominant follicle.
hello, I’ve just had my first round of letrozole on 2.5mg OD as I was told I have a high amh (67). Also have lean PCOS. I had a scan yesterday on day 12 and no dominant follicle. Largest one they could see was 10.2mm. Have been told to have sex and not do ovulation sticks because of it causing stress

Dominant follicles in one ovary....
Hi everyone - hoping for some advice/experience... I'm on my second egg collection at 44. AMH was 12.07 in March and was pretty elated as meant my egg reserve should be okay ... However, my first scan they said I had 10 follicles but my FSH was a bit too high at 12.2 but they thought that was due to

First IVF cycle - blocked tubes
Hi there, We're just about to do our first IVF cycle in the next few weeks and I'm getting really nervous and afraid it won't work! I'm 38 and my husband is 40, I had really high AMH levels so we got tons of eggs at the extraction phase but it quickly whittled down to around 8 or 9 viable embryos.

IVF stims cycle - do I have to wait for Stork?
Hi everyone, I appreciate this is a pretty niche question, but I'm throwing it out there on the off-chance someone here has been through similar. As a bit of backstory, I had a failed stims cycle in Feb and the plan with my clinic has always been to do my next cycle in June. I've had various delays

hi all, I am seeking answers in relation to premature ovarian aging or premature ovarian insufficiency. Did anyone experience this condition ? My AMH has dropped again in a month and FSH seemed to be have shot up leaving me confused and disheartened. I am not sure if there is anything you can do to

what to ask in follow up appointment
Hi, I’m wondering if anyone is able to please offer me some advice on what to ask in my follow up appointment tomorrow after a negative pregnancy test. Here’s my history which has all been as a single person I’m 41 years old, 42 in January. AMH in September 2023 was 7.7. Followed healthy diet

*Sensitive* recurrent MCs, faint bfp
Hello! For context, I have a history of early recurrent miscarriages (3 last year), and a toddler. We have now been trying for 18 months, first 8 months with MCs and nothing last 10 months. I have an extremely low amh 1.75 pmol/l, so I was told I should move to IVF. I am due to start IVF medications

Confused about the NHS process for IVF
Hello My husband (age 37) and I (age 32) have been referred to the local infertility service via my GP in Leicestershire. My husband has severe oligospermia, so we were told by the embryologist that we would need ICSI. Also, my AMH is only 9pmol/l. I'm confused about what happens next... I've been
