Low AMH Success Stories

I’m hoping to hear from people in a similar situation who have low AMH and a small amount of follicles. Anyone had success in this situation? I’m 40 and have had three cycles (current in the 2WW). Each round I’ve only ever had 2 or 3 mature follicles though and end up with 2 early blastocysts at day 5 (except for this round where I only got 1 which they’ve used). Feeling a bit deflated

I've got low AMH and in a similar boat to yourself. My first round I had an early blast which must've stopped developing. My second round I got one blastocyst which is frozen and due for transfer in a few weeks.

It's really hard getting low numbers of eggs, I think I've only had 4 each retrieval.

Have you tried CoQ10 or DHEA?

Did they tell you the grade of the latest embryo they've transferred? Hopefully this one will work & you won't need to worry about further treatment xx

CoQ10 yes but not DHEA. They couldn’t grade it because it wasn’t a full blastocyst but said its score was 3.4 out of 10 and they’d give it a 10% chance so not great.

Can I ask how old you are? That seems to be the determining thing for me in terms of quality unfortunately

I'm 39 in August. What is your AMH?

I think the 1.5 years seems to be a dramatic jump unfortunately. 2. How about you?

Mine was 5pmol last July, due to have it tested again soon. So you're aren't doing too badly egg wise as it's similar to what I've been getting.

If it's any consolation I know someone who got 4 eggs and 2 high quality blastocysts in one cycle. Neither stuck but it's still possible xx

Speak to your clinic about DHEA if this round doesn't work. That's my plan if my FET doesn't work to take it for 3 months. It's supposed to help with egg quality and sometimes numbers especially for women over 40.

Yes I have.Did 2 rounds when I was 40.3 eggs first round and 2 eggs second round.Double embyro transfers both times.First transfer failed.Second transfer(day 3) worked and now have a beautiful 13month old.Wishing you so much luck.xx

I got my amh measured in the November before first cycle in March and it was 7.7pmol/l.I got it measured in August before second cycle and it was 2.2pmol/l.However this could of been due to the priming cycle I was on.I got pregnant in Feb 24 naturally with an amh of 1.24pmol/l.This pregnancy did not work out unfortunately but gave me hope that we could still get pregnant.We are going for another cycle in Sept.x

Thank you! I’ve had three miscarriages in the last few years. Wasn’t trying the first one though and then waited. When we started trying at 39 I fell pregnant reasonably easily but had another miscarriage and a year later have since had another one. My issue seems to be both quality and quantity unfortunately

Yes low amh only 5 follicles 2 failed rounds of ivf. Got pregnant first ovulation after the failed cycle naturally. I used mira ovulation tracker fertility conception cups. Dhea tho i know you need bloods for this. Also coq 10 ubiquinol. Life extension brand. Vit d. Magnesium. Mediterranean diet. Exercise. Im age 40. Wishing you all the best. X
