Graduation run completed! π©π»βπππ ππ»ββοΈππ’Time to tell my story
Foolishly Iβd thought the step
aerobics
Iβd done 3 times a week when I was 20 would stand me in good stead!! After 2 weeks on the IC I probably did the single best thing I could have done, I started the NHS knee strengthening exercises Iβd found a link for on this forum.

Hello. Iβm new. Hereβs my story.
Iβm very active, usually doing 3 to 4
aerobics
type dance classes a week and I try to get in 1 to 2 sessions of strength based exercise a week as well. I also try and fit in fitness yoga once a week but this depends on work as itβs during the day. I love attending fitness weekends too.

Bone mets?
I work out a lot with weights and
aerobics
and I play golf. Iβve had low back pain off and on since suffering compression fractures at L1, L2, and T12 due to a fall back in 1965 and a herniated disc in 2006 which caused sciatica but I had it pretty much under control with shots and PT.

Trying to get to the other side
I like to swim laps and do water
aerobics
. Being in water has always relaxed me. So, by next week I will be moved into the new place and going to the health club. I hope I will be over this anxiety hump then. I still have to live with my ex boyfriend, but now we have separate rooms.

Exercise without out leaving your chair!
I regularly visualise myself doing star jumps, jogging and following an
aerobics
programme which I used to do at the gym. Good luck

Week 1 Run 1 & 2
I went out in the snow and wind yesterday with the kids in tow and completed run 1 - it was not too tough at all, I do quite a lot of
aerobics
so cardio wise i was fine but could feel it in my legs in the evening.

Back on couch to 5K and loving it!
I first attempted the C25K about 9 months ago but then hurt my knee when doing high impact
aerobics
. I've since began low impact exercises, lost weight and am about to start week 4.

I am fit and well, daily 1 hour exercise like water
aerobics
or line dancing and do it with ease. Lost weight and cholestrol is not - never was- the problem but I do take a statin as well as warfarin, bilocor, furosemid, potassium chloride. I am 66 and retired.

4 rules for exercising with osteoporosis
βThen you can advance to higher levels of impact, like jogging, hiking, stair climbing, or
aerobics
classes.β While swimming and cycling have many benefits, they donβt provide the weight-bearing load your bones need to slow mineral loss. However, if you enjoy these activities, do them.

Can never stop at one
I got the bicycle out of the shed yesterday and pump the tires up so as my
aerobics
exercise I'm going to be riding my bike everywhere instead of taking the car and for my strength I'll probably just do 20 minutes of pilates.
