How Long Did You Stay On Your Max Dose?
Supplementing on a bad day with a couple of
Advil
usually got me just about pain free too, but I found myself doing that more and more. This last attempt to taper, the flare was so bad that I tried going up to 12 to get rid of the inflammation and start again.

Adverse Reactions
I've done
advil
---helps some. Anyone else having similar problem? Also nasal drainage--like bad allergies, nasty tongue.

Has anyone had an infection due to endometriosis?
I showed no fever, but it might have been because I was taking Tylenol and
Advil
the whole week leading up to it so maybe the medicine was keeping my temperature normal? But then again TOAs sometimes aren’t presented with a fever.

Green tea extract and Advil
I'd like to know what others (especially the scientists in this group) think about the combination of green tea extract and
Advil
. It's cheap with virtually no side effects. What's not to love?

Scared
He had a bad tooth ache and had been self medicating with
Advil
(we didn’t know he had cirrhosis) Nothing was BANDED during the scope. 4 days in the hospital and sent home on a beta blocker and acid reducer and a MELD score 9 and CP A-B ( borderline) Just got through a whole host of bloodwork... does

Monthly migraines
Rizatriptan and
advil
do nip the pain in the bud if I take them early enough, along with ondansetron for the nausea/queasiness.

Israeli neuro-modulation device may spell end to migraines
“We are not targeting patients whose symptoms are alleviated with
Advil
but those who require drugs frequently.” The Neurolief device is meant to be used only during a migraine attack. Since it can fold up to the size of a sunglasses case, it’s small enough to carry in a purse or backpack.

Update: 3 weeks Post Davinci Surgery
I also have continuous aching in my groin area which is lessened with
Advil
. Some Questions: 1. Is that aching normal? 2. Id there anything else I can do for ED? 3. What's an average ED recovery timeline? 4. Should I get the pathology looked to ensure it is correct? Thanks, Jim

New to low GFR
I took
Advil
for years with chronic pain from a traumatic auto accident. After surgeries, my specialists even told me I could take 800mg at a time after 48 hours had passed. Finally, a somewhat unscrupulous neurologist told me to stop taking any NSAID.

Week 3
Still have some bone pain but manageable with
Advil
. Labs are fairly stable so no real concerns there. Hopefully things keep going in the right direction and I’ll be ready for injection 2 in a couple of weeks.

what should I take for a headache?
So I read a bit earlier that there was a link in taking
Advil
consistently and AFib. I was/have been taking a lot of
Advil
for headaches leading up to my first/only episode. Since then I have stopped taking it. However, now I have a little bit of a headache and I was wondering what I should take.

One more thing...a few times I felt like I was trying to get a migraine but rubbing my ibuprofen gel on sides of neck or taking
Advil
or Excedrin made it go away. Normally when the sides of the neck inflame it's all over. UPDATE: today is Nov 30. I've had three injections starting Sept 19.

Medical care getting older
I gave myself ulcers from
Advil
use years ago so am very limited to what I can take. Having seen how my parents and grandparents were pretty much dismissed by doctors as they got older makes me very scared as time marches on for me and my husband, (he is 66, and next week I will be 63).

I wish I could take an
advil
as I think it would help what feels like inflammatory pain in my head & neck daily but am scared to. They did every test known to man in the hospital - twice.

High Blood Pressure in young girl?
The headaches, the headaches won’t go away with
Advil
, Tylenol, aspirin. And the icing on the cake my hair is falling out along with my eyelashes, I asked her to please send me to an endocrinologist....... and she told me NO. She said no I don’t have enough evidence to see an endo.
