So I read a bit earlier that there was a link in taking Advil consistently and AFib. I was/have been taking a lot of Advil for headaches leading up to my first/only episode. Since then I have stopped taking it. However, now I have a little bit of a headache and I was wondering what I should take. Not taking anything except for 12.5mg of metroporal xr. Please let me know what you guys think. I see my electrophysiologist tomorrow so worst case I’ll just tough it out till then.
Thanks to everyone who responds. This group has helped me a lot so far.

A few weeks after having been put on Dabiatran I had a migraine. I checked the Zomig leaflet. I asked the neurologist, via the med secretary, as no doctor or pharmacist had told me that I should not take Zomig for my migraine, which is a triptan drug and can cause cerebral bleeding if you are taking an anticoagulant. While waiting for an answer to my question I contacted the Migraine Association and I got a reply from them on the same day. They sent me a pdf link which advises that ONLY paracetamol should be taken, and they advise you take 1000mg ( 2 tablets) as soon as possible; it works for me.
Interesting- I currently take 50mg of flecainide 2x per day - I am also prescribed zomig for migraines which thankfully I don’t need to take too often - but my doc has never said I shouldn’t take the migraine treatment- I do wonder .....
