France tightens (further) rules on sale of paracetamol and ibuprofen
I thought this of possible interest given the many discussions about availability of thyroid hormones in France and elsewhere. And anyone going to France might find it useful to know. [i]

Will GFR go down?
I just got checked (52 years old) Creatin 1.5 (.4-1.4 is the lab range) GFR 53 / BUN=21 is in range so is Albinum =4 - never drank water (maybe glass or 2 per day) and used colon cleanse all the time and was eating meat at least 3-4 times per week and weighed in at about 210/212lbs / Felt very dehydrated

Sleeping
Good morning! I am in need of advice of what take to sleep. I have tried Advil PM and 10 mg of Ambien. Both have me up at midnight. I’m healing from radiation which makes it challenging. Any advice is greatly appreciated! 💕 Colleen

Minor pain relief while taking Eliquis
I have PAF, and have only had three episodes since December of 2017, only one this year. But I am 76 years old, have blood pressure issues, so the CHAD score and my doctor recommended Eliquis. I have been on this for about 6 months now. No side effect issues at all. The only issue is that I have

Bad night
Slept very poorly last night. Besides the anxiety depression and ibs several doctors have told me in the past they are pretty sure I have fibromyalgia. Well yesterday out of the blue severe back pain shows up for no reason. I’ve had other muscle pain ever since the weather turned colder as well as problems

Spiolto Respimat Users?
Symbicort and
Advair
both caused awful and intense large muscle cramps (back, abs, thighs), to the point I could not sleep. When I would go off them or reduce them a day or two the cramps go away, only to come back. Hoping this Respimat is better.

Saw Rheumy at HSS - New York - Question for You?
Hi Folks, Saw really good rheumy and she had some good info and advice (as well as taking 8 vials of blood out of me. Talk about thorough...) She said as I taper that she was not in love with the idea of me hitting extra pain here and there with Advil (ibuprofen), and prefers that I use Tylenol (paracetemol

Aorta?
After being on 80 mg for a while for GCA probably 10 days on now back to 60 because I didn't notice a lot of difference and I had my eyes checked and they were okay and I'm just so afraid of that high a dose. Meanwhile I slipped in my kitchen and fell on my butt hard and now I have a compression fracture

Leg cramp from combination inhaler?
Could it be a side effect of the
Advair
or just a coincidence? I normally don't read thru possible side effects but when I checked the packaging now it only mentioned muscle pain, not muscle cramps, so I'm not really sure.

Lightening strikes in head
I'm wiring on behalf of my wife who has been diagnosed with MS for over 20 years. After multiple MS drugs over the years she is now living without any specific MS medication. In the last year she has had occasional spiking attacks in the left side of her head. She describes it as lightening strikes

Undiagnosed Endometriosis from lap and Orilissa. Do I have endo?
Hi all, I recently had a laparoscopy with my OBGYN that left me without answers. He said that I had blisters/possible endometriosis on my ovary, but it didn't explain my pain. Since then I've had my case looked over by a specialist who said that I probably have stage one endometriosis. He also wanted

Shortness of breath and wheezing :(
My doctor could not really find anything wrong with me and suggested I start using an inhaler (
Advair
) and wrote me a prescription which I have not yet have filled. I asked if he could get me a referral for a CT Scan and he agreed.

Inhalers
I used
Advair
(or Symbicort) for 20 years until I finally started getting lung infections. Quit on my own and it cleared up right away. I was using Spiriva also and am now ready to try going without. I am having the eye problems associated with it.

Not sure this is the right place but hoping someone can help...
I am scheduled to have a uterine biopsy in two weeks and I am scared to death , can’t sleep or eat as I have read so many horror stories about this procedure ( yes I am one of those bad people that googles everything) my uterine lining is thicker than my gumbo would like and awhile back I had a period

Huge meltdown yesterday !! 😭
Hi everyone ! I had a big meltdown at my support group yesterday. I had so much build up anxiety that I just cried like a baby . On Tuesday , I was opening my car door and I ended up hitting my forehead ! My health anxiety came back 100% after that . I had a small bump and called my sister who is

Temporal Arteritis Or Sinusitis? CT scan and response to Pred.
Hi all, I’m new here. I am a 35 year old female and I’m struggling with something - not sure what move to make next and hoping someone can have some insight for me. On April 22, I got a headache. I have suffered random headaches since childhood, which evened out to monthly headaches around my cycle-
