What do you do at night wRLS?
As my RLS has been especially acting up lately (2 hrs sleep), I wonder what sufferers do at night when the symptoms are relentless? I find I go to bed with a positive attitude telling myself tonight will be different, and when I wake up again and again, I’m so disgusted and angry. Sometimes I find myself

Why hasn't MO recommended Provenge? Ideas? He has extensive bone mets (is that it?)Almost no pain. Also 2 questions - clinical trial and PET
Hi All, I hope I'm not missing something important, but would like to know more about this. I'd like to understand more. DESCRIPTION OF BARRY'S PC --- After docetaxel and enzalutamide failures, several consults plus our MO said Cabazitaxel is best option for husband Barry, who "failed" docetaxel

I want to thank those who replied to my post about Neulasta. Your experiences helped me prepare for side effects. Day 3 and I've had mild bone pain, dizziness, and some nausea. Am taking Advil for pain and it helps. Hope this helps jumpstart my WBC so I can complete my final infusion.

Pain medication when taking Flecainide
I just started Flecainide and Eliquis for AFib and have a question. I have really painful arthritis and sometime take a half of a Vicodin at night for the pain that keeps me awake. Never take anything in daytime but hard to sleep when you are constantly moving trying to get easy. I know you can’t

Alkaline phos rising yet symptoms lessing?
My husband began Zolodex close to 2 weeks ago. He's a 13 year Stage IV survivor. His alk phos is increasing and yet after he did the initial Casodex, got the injection of Zolodex, his symptoms are lessening greatly. He has reduced pain meds, sometimes even to the point where an Advil and Tylenol will

Lung Issues
I have
advair
inhaler, administer breathing treatments, allergy meds, prescription cough meds, but it is a constant battle. It started over two years ago. I am so tired of struggling every day. The lung specialist I have seen seem to think it is asthma, but I am not convinced it is?

Hi, I just joined this community. I've had restlessness at night for quite some time. It comes and goes, some nights are worse than others, it wakes me up at night and I feel like I want to jump out of my skin. If I take 2 Advil it usually helps but I don't like taking too much of any medication. I always

Some good tips not just for Corona patients.
Here is some very helpful info and tips that I found on my Facebook feed. Good ideas that easily could apply to us with Bronx and Asthma. CORONA Common Sense Since they are calling on Respiratory therapist to help fight the Corona virus, and I am a retired one, too old to work in a hospital setting

Swelling calves and pain/ache question
Because of PCa my husband had lost a lot of muscle. He had very muscular legs. Using Zolodex some years ago for about 6 months (no longer taking it) It lowered the tumor load by about 50% though the side effect was more serious muscle loss than on Lupron. Fast forward. We are not on either of those

Reacting to the Virus
I am just the messenger but it is worth heeding. This! I know we’re all tired of hearing/talking about it, but one thing I HAVEN’T really seen going around is advice for what happens if you DO get coronavirus (many of us will), we're only seeing advice for how to try to AVOID it. So as your friendly

Weak Sore lower legs
Over the past year I have completed 45 radiation treatments and 16 months of Lupon shots. Happy to say my PSA is now 0.00. However, when I received the Lupron shot last month on a Wednesday it hit me like a freight train and all I wanted to do is sleep. By Saturday, my lower legs were so sore and weak

Comparison between alk phos bone specific range compared to non specific which would include liver etc.
I have a question about the range comparison between alk phos non specific to alk phos bone specific I know we have issues with bone mets, and also I'm trying to figure out the comparison to liver ALP1 since liver affecting meds are involved. Anything to educate me would help. The range of bone specific
