Spiolto Respimat Users?

Hey ho, any Spiolto / Stiolto Respimat users here? Just got switched off Symbicort to it. Symbicort and Advair both caused awful and intense large muscle cramps (back, abs, thighs), to the point I could not sleep.

When I would go off them or reduce them a day or two the cramps go away, only to come back. Hoping this Respimat is better.

Hi pepapod,i use spiolto respimat and i have never had any side effects from using it,as you probably know it is a long term bronchodilator without a steroid content.Unfortunately i am not a good judge of its ability to reduce flare ups in copd as with my type of emphysema none of the available inhalers seem to make any difference in my condition which is mainly obstructive with little airways inflammation.

Hope it works better for you.

I have been using it for a couple of years and the only issue is acid reflux but can't say it is from the inspiolto positively, but think it is. You may notice a difference no longer having the steroid component like is in Symbicort.

Thanks Jackd. I have acid reflux also, which I believe is made worse by all these meds. But I can bear it better than the muscle cramps. Have been in some of the worst pain in my life & hope as you said, this drug without the steroid will be easier.

Hi, I have just been put on spoilto restimat a week ago, and so far so good, no side effects and not needing any Ventolin. Have been pushing myself this week to test it out....and managed a 3 mile walk non stop without getting breathless x

That’s good to know Skatergirl. I have put on some weight and need to get back to more activity.

I have used it for a long time without a problem. Braltus affected my throat.

I use it too, with no side effects (so much better than Eklira Genuair which I used previously)
