Medicare plans
Has anyone found a good supplemental plan which covers more than 66% of Trelstar
ADT
shots? The insurance I am losing covered 75% of a $2600 cost. The best I have found to replace it is 66% of 2900+ dollars.

Strength Training Problem; Advice?
My only therapy for mPC DX 4 years ago has been
ADT
(Lupron & abiraterone). So far so good in that my PSA remains < 0.1 and occasional imaging indicates that my upper spine met isn’t growing. I’ve learned to live with all the usual SEs. Immediately after DX, I stepped up my exercising at the gym.

Reaching out to find the member who successfully did every other day hormone cycling
Anyone out there know? Someone 💯 mentioned they cycled choices with success. I believe it involved NDT. Or do you? **I fully realize this is a poor choice, just getting cornered due to price. It is not what I want. ** I just had my hormones increased yet again this week & the financial burden has

My MO has never been in favor of adding Zytiga as
ADT
+. I'm thinking he is going to wait for the PSA to go above .5 and when order another PSMA scan before starting Zytiga. I'm also thinking starting Zytiga now rather than later makes sense since the cancer is apparently no longer confined.

Hi all, I’m on
ADT
for Pca and got lectured by everyone in a white coat about the importance of resistance training. I was doing fine at the gym until a bladder cancer reappeared. Combined with a bad case of radiation cystitis, I’ve had to have a bladder catheter in for a few months.

Ouch! Santa only left me lumps of coal. Still digesting my latest DX and any input would be welcome.
The symptoms fit at least 20 other diseases and the SE of my
ADT
. Probably it is undercounted since it get mixed in with other comorbidites. About a 35% chance that it will turn into Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Some thought that radiation may cause it.

First post-ADT vacation PSA test
And almost as important is that the side effects are quite minimal compared to my previous rounds of
ADT
. My energy is good. With the help of Sildenafil I can still achieve an erection. I just have some minimal hot flashes.

Question about using synthroid and ndt
I was on synthroid for about 6 years I am at 100 mg I am having symptoms again. I asked my doctor about ndt and he gave me a prescription. I have lowered my dose of synthroid slowly to 50 mg and plan on adding in the ndt but I don't know what dose to start at. Any ideas from people that have had success

how to obtain NDT in UK
I currently live in the USA but will be moving to the UK. I have successfully managed my hypothyroidism, with NDT, for many years. Formerly, I did not do well on levothyroxine. Since I will not be able to get prescriptions filled from the US anymore, I am making preliminary enquiries about how I

First ever PSMA scan shows two small bone lesions
At the time his MO was suggesting adding Zytiga per studies showing its effectiveness with
ADT
at diagnosis for localized high grade cancer (he is Gleason 9). MO also ordered PSMA scan which is now available locally as a baseline, this is his first. PSA is 0.03.

amiodarone effect on NDT
Hi Everyone.I've just had a heart op and have been put on amiodarone for three weeks. I know this drug is known to damage a healthy thyroid. I'm just wondering what effect it has on someone optimally treated for hypothyroidism with NDT. My worry is will it lower the conversion of Thyroid hormones..

Anyone else tried NDT due to levo side effects?
Hi All I've struggled with different brands of levothyroxine as they give me terrible side effects (Teva is the worst). Wockhardt seems to be the only one I can tolerate, however I have not been feeling myself for a couple of months, and wondering if I now can't tolerate this one either. I feel weird

The condition after 2.5 years on NDT
Hello everyone! I'm taking NDT for 2.5 years, take 2.375 tablets divided into 4 times in a day. I was taking only thyroxine during 24 years and the biggest dose was 125 mcg. Using NDT I feel much better, I lost 10 kg. But what bothers, that looks like I have not enough fat, especially in the upper body
