Adrenaline

Even when I manage to calm myself down as soon as I start to fall asleep I get a rush of panic and adrenaline. Does anyone else get this? It’s currently 3am and I’m feeling desperate and lost :(

When this happens I will not be able to go back to sleep for several hours after as the adrenaline is racing through my body. This strange symptom, tends to happen regularly at night, and then disappears. Ie i go through fazes, can go without it for months, then it comes back for several nights.

Every last one of you. ( us ) SO when that happens may I suggest that then is when you recall what Jeff and Agora and Uncle b1b1b1b, write about so often and replay their words in your head to give the effects of the adrenaline that has just dropped, a few minutes to cycle out of your system.

It is if my body produces adrenaline automatically to prevent symptoms - which leave me tense. Any advice??

I'm worried I'll fall asleep and every time I get close to calm and the adrenaline wears off. I feel tired and start freaking out again.

I woke up feeling great and was first in office. Had a spring in my step and managed the thre flights of stairs with no breathing problems. I feel the urge to feel pain or do something really crazy to get my adrenaline running. I know this feeling is what leads many people to self destruction. Does anyone have any ideas regarding how to get rid of this feeling without doing anything harmful? Thank you!

Adrenaline is great for a good run result though! Moral of the story - pick my feet up & look where I’m going!! Happy running all - take care out there!! 🏎😲

I decided to go to Dr P and he said he thought I had Adrenaline Insufficiency, Hypothyroidism and perhaps an issue with my sex hormones and asked me to have further tests done by Genova. The results came back with Urine Thyroid being T4 4.83, T3 1.61 and Ratio 33.33.

(Maybe adrenaline fuelled but still chuffed). I walked 2 or 3 minutes home and I've done extra stretching since getting in so hope I'm not too stiff over the next day or two.

After 3 days of no adrenaline rushes, I think the tests would look different, what do you think?

Adrenaline surges are just the worst!!!!my tummy and solar plexus feel awful all day every day.makes me lightheaded and generally feel like hell 24/7. Does anyone know of a tablet that helps this? X

So I have palpitations, get very anxious, weight gain, low mood, difficulty sleeping pain in my back & legs etc so decided I needed to do the cortisol test as I feel I’m running on adrenaline. They’ve come back totally normal! !!!

I guess the adrenaline is currently making a slight improvement but let's see what happens when that has worked itself through my body.
