Tonsillitis question and mtx
Hi. My 3 year old granddaughter has just got back from A&E and she has tonsillitis and has been given antibiotics. I’m due my MTX jab tomorrow and as it’s bank holiday I can’t get hold of Rheumy nurse. On the internet the NHS says it not contagious but the bacterial or viral infection that causes tonsillitis

Recovering from bronchitis.
So, after coughing and not sleeping for 5 days I finally went to see my GP. He diagnosed me with bronchitis and checked back on my notes and told me I haven't had an antibiotic prescribed for me for 6+ years. I'm halfway through them and finally not coughing near as much. This was just as well as I

Flu Can Bring Back AFIB
I live in Australia and flu is rife here at the moment as we go into winter. I have had the flu this last 5 days and with it, my AFIB returned 24*7 and thought I would share my experiences. I read on the internet that various medical studies show that in 18% of cases the flu will bring back AFIB in

PECULIARITIES OF THYROID STATUS OF PRESCHOOLCHILDREN WITH ACUTE BRONCHITIS
Another reason to look for non-thyroidal illness/euthyroid sick syndrome in another illness. Is it possible that, in time, thyroid status will be seen as every bit as relevant and important as temperature, blood pressure and all the other things that are done almost totally automatically? . [i]

Minor cold symptoms
What are peoples thoughts on running when u have mild cold symptoms? I will be going to work tomorrow so it's a cough and a bit of a high temperature that I have. I did a lateral flow and it isn't covid. I am not sure if running will slow down recovery or aid it in the long term.

Painful erection and discharge
I have been trying hard to research and know the issue with me but i can't really find an answer...i normally have good sex with my partner but recently am having pains when my dick is aroused....and most times it stops arising because of the pain. It seems like the pain is from the veins in the dick

Aspirin/cough med while taking methotrexate
I'll be calling Dr later, but now they're not open yet. My rhuematologist once said I shouldn't take aspirin while on methotrexate, but if I had to, I could take one. Same question for cough medicine.

Treatment of damages due to radiation
asked him why we do not use the know-how of doctors dealing with nuclear exposure. Many of us suffer from damages produced by radiation....like blood in stool, urine and other damages. However when I visit doctors, it seems they are ignorant of treatment for damages due to Radiation. I feel we should
