Depression/anxiety
I have had a bit of a horrible time with ex girlfriends and overcoming a gambling
addiction
in the past and repercussions of my past mistakes are still cropping up and effecting my future. I cant seem to get a break. I never ever feel genuinly relaxed either.

Food Addiction
I know this is a term thrown around by many people, some disagree its a thing, some use it to cover greed, some think it is a thing. My concern is that it is a thing and that I suffer from it. No matter what I try food takes over my life. I don't know what to do about it.

Back again but for the wrong reason
It was a double edged sword because although being able to indulge in my secret
addiction
was enjoyable (I won't lie) I felt guilt with every cigarette I put to my lips. That didn't stop me carrying on smoking for at least 4 weeks, promising myself with every pack I bought that it would be my last.

I understand doctors fear

takes 3 months, so because of our addictions will make double sure to avoid those specific foods during this time, even if we get to a point that it is okay to reintroduce things into our diet.

Response to several questions:Opened file because of person whose doctor took them off their painkillers.
I think doctors are fearful because of the large amount of press painkiller
addiction
is getting. There is a difference between ourselves and the addicts who overuse, who powder several pills and then "snort" them, who use powdered fentanyl as "the new heroin."

The serial stasher!
When I realised I couldn't indulge in my
addiction
in peace I started stashing the food. All over the house so he wouldn't find me and judge me. I would lie about how some of the 'treats' disappeared and get very defensive when he'd confront me.
