Missed Ropinirole Doses
Yep, I'm still on it, don't ask! BUT, I've had food poisoning and missed three doses - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I've woken up this morning feeling like I've been hit over the head with a sledgehammer. I thought it would be fine to resume taking it at my normal time tonight (Monday) but a quick search

Ciprofloxacin Horror!
I don’t know where to start. I had been taking this drug for over a year until two days ago when I stopped it myself. I was prescribed it last April while in hospital with ARLD and alcohol hepatitis. I was very poorly and since recovered from it. My first blood tests after discharge were normal but

Completely beat physically and emotionally
At the age of 45 I experienced intermittent chest pain (even when at rest), sweats, headaches and fatigue. I was sent packing from A&E as tests were normal. I saw a cardiologist privately and they found a critical blockage of my LAD. I was reassured that I was fixed with a stent and all my risks were

Beta HCG elevation
Morning ladies. I tried to explain to the GP that my clinic requested a Beta blood test to confirm pregnancy. They couldn’t get me in until late this month. I did a little research and there is a company on line - Medichecks. I sent off a blood sample and voilà 783 on day 13 after 5dt 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤞🏻

I am 7 weeks post Cabg x 4 and I cannot get a good nights sleep, I lay for hours not being able to get off, pins and needles in my hands and having to keep moving my legs, Dr has prescribed amytriptaline and mitrazapine yet none of it works, this started two weeks ago and it’s affecting my mood and I

Lexapro withdrawal symptoms
Anyone have experience with weaning off lexapro as it is antagonst for RLS. I have cut dose in half to 5 mg and have been doing that for 3 weeks. I will continue the cut back to 5 mg every other day and keeping fingers crossed I can move on without an antidepresssant anymore. I have experienced a myriad

Advanced PCa & Kidney Disease
I'm getting a CT scan soon to follow up on my ADT failure. They are concerned that there may be sign of kidney disease. It seems like it's relatively common in PCa warriors, so I'm presuming people have experience. I just checked on the kidney disease symptoms and I seem to have most of them. My onco

Hi there (newbie)
Well, here I am led in the bath…..at 00:09am! And I’m utterly shattered for these regular (nightly) twilight baths to help my legs from constantly moving in the bed, no matter what my ‘sleeping’ position (sleep, what was that again?). My restless legs joined my body a couple of years ago but would annoy

Constant fatigue
Hi, I had a heart attack 3 years ago and a stent. I'm still constantly tired plus am struggling with going out and lack of confidence since lockdown lifted. Is anyone else in the same position? and how have people coped with it? Any advice welcome - thank you

I had massive HA last year had a stent put it doing really well. But I keep on noticing my ankles are really swollen even when I get out of the bed in the morning they are still there. In the afternoon before I cook the evening meal I sit down with my feet up but it never goes down. As anyone else experienced

Heart attack problems
Hi everyone Sorry to say I had a minor heart attack on Thursday, but fortunately my wife rang 999 and everything after went as smoothly as clockwork. Ambulance arrived within 10 minutes and they did ecg scans at home and in the ambulance. They then phoned ahead to the Cardiac care unit, who admitted

Is PMR always bilateral?
It’s 2 1/2 years since original onset and diagnosis of PMR with bilateral upper arm pain. I started on 15mg of Pred and have been reducing slowly using Dorset Lady’s plan of 1/2mg reduction every 5 weeks, since I got to 8mg. However since reducing from 4 to 3 1/2 mg I have pulsating pain in my right

Hi all. So im wondering what happens to the arteries that have been bypassed. I know they are still there, but are they functioning still? Or do they just dry up or something? I've Googled but cant find any answer. Thanks

MMT not good for me
I quit methadone after two years on it. I will be abstinent 2 years on July19th. I was on 80mgs when I quit cold turkey because I was done living in a drug induced haze all the time. All that weight you gain that they tell you is because you are now healthy, that’s a lie. I had a week of feeling like

Heart ache - stress different from exercise (angina?)
I'm interested in my different kind of aches! I used to have angina, from exercise - drugs and a stent has stopped that, though I did experience a lot of 'bruising' ache after the stent, particularly when I tried to be 'normal' again and not wrap myself up in cotton wool - though I'm now so keen just

Hi. Does anyone have high lipoptotein A. Any success in reducing it? I'm 52 years old and have been told my coronary artery disease is premature so I was referred by cardio team to the lipid specialists. I was/am in good shape, decent weight/BMI and fitness. I'm now 8 weeks post-CABG x 2 and 7 months
