Hello fellow mpn'ers. I haven't written for a while, i do check out the posts. Maybe the lonliness I feel with this spreads out and keeps me to myself. I was diagnosed with pv 3 years ago,it took a while, so like most of you, who knows how long I had it. I started with venesections, quite regularly.

9 cm ovary cyst
I am thinking of trying
acupuncture
and Chinese medicine and was wondering if anyone has tried it. Also if anyone had a large cyst that reduced in size. I'm only 24 and don't want to have an operation thank you

On going migraine symptoms with burning skin and neck stiffness as prodrome. Is this really just migraine?
Diagnosed with Headache Disorder (migraine) Neurologist is having me try
acupuncture
which isn’t (yet…?) working. I’m really perplexed by the inability to break this cycle and frankly becoming fearful of it being something in addition to migraines, which adds to my worries.

Acupuncture experience. Sorry such a long post!
Okay... I did it! I didn't freak out (too much 😁). It was a very interesting experience. The acupuncturist was really nice and open and really listened to me for a bit (almost like an extra therapy session for the week!) Then she explained everything as she did it. I shared about my health anxiety and

Giving myself a reward!
My therapist has me trying a reward system for myself and my goal this week was to really go through with the
acupuncture
session and not let my health anxiety win! And I did! Soo today I am rewarding myself with a good drive to a town over to go to a book store I like!

I have heard that
acupuncture
can help in reducing symptoms or even possibly slowing down progression of the disease. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does anyone have any recommendations on how to find a great acupuncturist in the Los Angeles area?

Leg pain
I have started
acupuncture
which I recommend to anyone after meningitis. I imagine it is different for everyone case by case however personally it’s helping me with every aspect of life especially sleeping.

My wife suggested
acupuncture
about two years ago. Since that time I have been almost entirely symptom-free and prescription free. I go about every 60 days.

What pain killers can I use after HA and stents
Had traction,
acupuncture
, tens machine and osteopath. Not even allowed large quantities of alcohol to numb the pain as detrimental to heart drugs.
