I want to know the difference between HM Actrapid 30/70 and Actrapid 100 MI/ul Insulin. Are both same? What are the brand names of HM Actrapid 30/70 insulin in India.

i am diebetic sincr 35 yeras aged 69 using 3 times actrapid and one time lantus with one tab metformin. i cannot keep down my glucose reading without using small amount of insulin afyer lchf diet.

Can anyone tell actrapid and humulin r similar type of insulins and if some one has to switch from actrapid to humumlin r will ir affec

She is taking actrapid thrice a day plus lantus 8 -10 units night time.. But her sugar level suddenly goes up above 300 and suddenly gets low af before lunch or dinner.. It gets lower down to 42 smetimes 54..doctors are just experimenting with different insulins but its not working.

I am diabetic since 19 yrs - i am taking Actrapid three times 34 , 30, 34 unit + Amaryl 2 two time + Glycomet 500 two time -- after daily checking of my fasting sugar is remain under 160 but PP is always high as above 230, now my Creatinine level is also increase as 1.65 uric acid is also increase

I have a very light breakfast but a heavy dinner and use Mixtard 20 units in the morn and 10 units of actrapid in the night. My post prandial blood sugar levels keep changing every night. Should I change anything? Thks.

these are the list of meds. my dad in Mumbai is taking Lantus (insulin) Actrapid (insulin) Glysiphage250mg Ziten 20 Stamlo 5 Rozucor 10 Lipicard -AV & Deplat -A75 my question is does he really need all of them are they and generic drugs as he cant afford to pay 10000 per month on his meds.

Earlier I was taking insulin Actrapid (14, 10) and insulatard(20, 14) morning and evening respectively. Frequently I was facing hypoglycaemia and my doctor changed the medicine to ryzodeg (32,20) with glucamet 500 twice daily.

Now changed to actrapid 26 and 24 . and novomix 30 in night. Fasting is 111, but pp still 260, 280,420 etc . please help

Hi all...this is my 7 times blood sugar profile bbf abf bl al bd ad &at 2pm.i m taking insulin regular/actrapid 2 units before lunch &actrapid 3units before dinner &insulin isophane 4 units after dinner ...but before taking insulin my profile was almost similar .plz suggest...my doctor is taking desicion

My glucose level fluctuates throughout the day some times 200mg/DL in afternoon ,morning 100mg/DL,night130mg/DL and some time low in 12pm 60 mg /DL I use actrapid 8 units in morning & 8 units in afternoon an in night use mixtard 20 units depends on my activities....

She is taking 28units of Actrapid at Breakfast, 36 of Actrapid during lunch and then 20 Actrapid and 30 HUman mixtard at dinner. She is also taking 0.3mg Voglidor in the morning .

I TAKE 100 UNITS OF ACTRAPID HUMAN INSULIN IN THREE DOSE AND 1GM MET FORMIN TWICE A DAY. MY WT IS 98 KG AND A AM TAKING INSULIN SINCE LAST 28 YRS. Morning fasting 190 comes to 150 after 2 hrs of lunch.
