Hashimoto's and yellow tinge on face only?
Hello, For a year, I've been having a what I'd call a yellow face which grew worse in the last few months. My face is pale, but really with a yellow or sometimes a greenish-grayish tinge! When I put my hand on my face, oh, it looks like it is someone else's hand! There is a huge difference in colour

Levothyroxin and acne
Hi, my daughter started on 25mg levothyroxin about 6 week ago. She is 17 and would tend to get bad skin for which the doctor gave her cream. The cream worked pretty well but I notice her skin has become really bad since starting the levo. Is this a side effect of levo and is there anything I can do

Prednisone 20 mg raising my need for more blood pressure med in addition to beta blocker.
The testing said no
Ace
inhibitors
because they would only make my pressure high, which they already had done. Many different combos were tried without success. I am in Coreg 12.5 mgs twice a day.

Acne, or something more serious?
Hi there, thanks for reading this. I'm a little worried as I have noticed a rash of what appears to be acne, across the upper side of my right thigh (see pic). There is a cluster of red bumps, on the pores of the skin. The skin itself feels quite tender and itchy. I am worried because I already have

Opinions on Isotretinoin
Hi I'm new on here due to my dermatologist asking me to do my own research into this drug. Ive read the info from the nhs and have taken in the possible side effects. The consultant did explain that this was quite a big step up from the doxycycline I have been taking, which hasn't touched the adult acne

Persistent Back Acne
hey, I've been suffering with back acne for about two years now and it just won't shift! It's not consisting of whiteheads or blackheads, just sore red bumps and I've been applying witch hazel for a while, as I do with my face, but this makes them itch. My face has no acne at all, but my back acne is

Hi Anyone found any creams etc work for their pcos acne ? When I went docs my skin was having a rare good day, I don't think the doctor took me seriously . I hate having bad skin, I never used to have spots. I got offered Yasmin or dianette. I am scared to put on weight or get worse if I take the pill

CT3M
I know members here have used the CT3M method successfully, and I'd love to hear about your experiences. I managed to wean myself off Medrol (prescribed for adrenal fatigue in late 2011) about a year ago. HC never worked for me as it metabolised too quickly. I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue based

What happens when line can't get through for tace?
What is usually the cause of getting to theatre for tace, line going in but not being able to get to the part they need to treat so they cannot do it? Are there alternatives?

Acne- can splitting the B12 dose help ?
Hello again. This has not been my daughters week. After posting about her seeming to regress after 10 initial loading doses ( not had the blood results back, but I think it was low potassium as now so much better after high intake of potassium rich foods and coconut water ) she has quite suddenly broken

Constantly getting hard spots under my skin
I am losing the will to live with my skin as I am consistently getting those hard lump spots under my skin. They are very sore and I get around 3 a week. My skin is extremely oily and I really take care of it by using creams and I drink 3litres of water a day, eat healthily and exercise often. When I
