dental abscess
does anyone else have a problem with IBSd flare up which also affects their gums? Sometimes my teeth and gums are a precursor to the D. I mange my diarrhoea with loperamide and a lactose free diet which is mostly good. I don’t think I suffer as severely as some of you do but it is a horrible condition

Can pelvic pain come suddenly and then disappear after few hours?
Hi all, I've had
abscess
near uterus and reoccurring pelvic pain for over a year. Past few months , pain will come out of the blue , be very severe, and then disappear after few hours. I'm not sure if it's the same pain I had when
abscess
was discovered or it's something else.

root canal work while on zoledronic acid infusions
She favours an
abscess
, although nothing showed on the X-ray. She assures me that an
abscess
can cause referred pain such as I have described. She has prescribed a week of antibiotics and I will see her again in 2.5 weeks. If it is an
abscess
she is recommending root canal treatment.

Whilst in our local hospital, after doing a CT scan, the initially changed their diagnosis

Third Perianal Abscess Drainage
I just had my third Perianal
Abscess
drained in an operation. I was diagnosed with Crohn's last year. I have fistula's that haven't closed so they put a Seton in during this operation. I'm wondering what suggestions people might have for diet and how to avoid getting another
abscess
.

hypothyroid and infection
I’ve got an
abscess
skin not tooth and have had for the last 8 weeks. I’m currently on my third set of antibiotics. I am waiting for it to be removed which can only happen when the active infection has gone which I’ve been waiting on for 8 weeks.

What does adhesion pain and scarring pain feel like?
Think the
abscess
might have developed and caused adhesions or scarring, but I'm not sure. Still waiting for next gynaecology appointment.

Is Orgovyx as effective as Lupron/Degarelix ?
But he has a fear of injections as many years back he has developed an
abscess
due to an injection wrongly given. Is orgovyx as effective as the injections in reducing testesterone ? One doctor I asked dismissed orgovyx and said not as effective but online I am reading other things.

Antibiotics!
Since being at the dentist for a gum
abscess
, I’ve had a course of antibiotics which is hellish. I’m suffering with side effects until Tuesday night so treadmill workouts are on hold till then. Unfortunately, we don’t appreciate health until we lose it!!!!

Interrupted Docetaxel treatment
They found a 6"
abscess
on my colon (I have been previous been treated for diverticultis) which they drained. I am now at home with a drain from the
abscess
for more than 3 weeks. I just finished 3 weeks of antibiotic treatment.

A reply to Wasabigirl’s post about PID (?) which has since been deleted
Doctors said that the only way that could happen is if it were an
abscess
- and I’d be dead if it had been an
abscess

PS to Periodontal Abscess and Prednisone
Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply to my post about gum/tooth infections and prednisone. All the replies were helpful! I did manage to generate one last question. Did any of you who had tooth extractions go on to have dental implants? I am leaning against due to cost and issues related to

🍏I just want to RUN!
Why do we miss it so much when we can’t run ( I have been dealing with an ear
abscess
) and take it so for granted when we can? If you are skulking indoors wondering 🤔 should I, shouldn’t I, do yourself a favour and get out and run the run, you can!!
