Yes you can. I do one day S&F, one day C25K (and have I stupidly just added in 1 day swimming but that's whole other story, lol). It actually says on the podcasts that that's how it can be used.

Like AnnaDJ says, S&F is great to do on 'rest days' as they are a great compliment to your running. The exercises will help strengthen your legs and core muscles as well as improve your balance and breathing technique, which will all benefit your running and help you stay injury free.

Yes you can do them on rest days. I alternate C25K then S/F and find it is helping my aches and pains away. It does tone up your leg muscles particularly. On my way back from C25K my players starts on S/F warm up, which I use as my warm down walk home again. I find it great!
