I wasn't convinced of the usefulness of micro workouts throughout the day, I always thought you needed to do it all in one go. Then I discovered this guy... 70 years old and looking GOOD!!

Lots of useful tips here. He also follows a low carb diet and practises intermittent fasting, but that's by the by....

Oldfloss had a couple of posts gathering all sorts of ideas for S&F life hacks:

Post 2 - healthunlocked.com/strength...

The posts and replies are worth a repeated read.

Can I store your post in one of our folders via a tag? (I’m asking as you will be notified if I do, as it officially “edits” the post, but I’m not changing anything but just tagging it so it can be refound in the future)

Very interesting,

As this has effectively been my routine during recovery when the plantar Fasciitis has prevented me doing more .

I have also been using low carb, no added sugar and intermittent fasting (GP approved) for the last 5 or 6 weeks

which has resulted in a 2 stone weight loss and a reversal (or remission as they prefer to call it ) of a type 2 diagnosis.

Blood sugar levels now back into 'Normal' range

Gosh two stones, that's fab. I try and follow low carb, but I struggle with my hypothyroidism, after a few days I really crave carbs in a way I never did before, so maybe they are more necessary now - or does that sound like an excuse? I find a lose a few KG then they just go back on even if I continue with low carb, very frustrating.

I did a free plan from Diet Doctor a few years ago when medical treatment piled the weight on me, lost 10 KG in six weeks.

I'm having another go at the moment, trying to eat more protein, let's see how that goes.

PF is a bugger isn't it? I had it a few years ago, the pain made me cry.

Thanks for posting……what an interesting video, the term ‘micro workouts’ is new to me but I tend to do this anyway e.g. a few squats while brushing my teeth and then standing push ups on a bench while walking the dog etc 😊👍
