It had best do after this one! I would have posted a picture of me doing this workout, but it wouldn’t have been a pretty sight.
So... the bit I was dreading... squat hold 30 seconds... absolutely loved it! So much easier than a wall sit... second time around I accepted the offer to go lower half way through... I nearly had my butt on the floor. I was so proud. Also after the second one the speed squats were good, like being set free! So... after the first set was the bit I’d been looking forwards to... backward hip circles and the forward ones, a nice gentle looking lie down. OH MY GOD they hurt! Just about managed to keep going on those.
24 minutes, plenty of sweating, 140 calories burned... which is less than it felt 😂
Earlier I’d done my dumbbell session and for lunch today I said little miss UNM could have a chip muffin (barm/bap/roll/tea cake/I’ve probably missed some other names for it) from the chippy... so we walked the 5k to the chippy and walked the 800m back 😂. She wasn’t impressed with my route planning, but if we are to eat some junk, we shall first burn some!
I’d recommend this workout... it’s all leg work and I can just feel how good that is for running... so, it nearly beat me but is now in my favourites section.
