100 pushup a day for a month challenge completed

That's it Unfitnomore, this afternoon at exactly 20 past 4 I did the final 10 pushups of your '100 pushup a day for a month challenge', I have worked out that I have done 3,100 of them over the 31 days of May. a hundred multiplied by 31 = 3,100. My arms don't feel too bad, whether or not they have taken on a different shape, well maybe.

You’re amazing my friend... you didn’t just complete the month, you smashed the challenge from day one... the guys in the video I linked took all day doing them! Excellent job.

Thanks UnfitNoMore, I will keep doing them from time to time, tomorrow is a new month, June, its summer, the season of getting out early to run and avoid the heat of the day, good luck for your parkrun tomorrow. 😊 🏃.

Good morning UNM, I know that you are interested in that Metronome Beat app I installed last week.

On Saturday I ran a 5K at 155 steps a minute taking about 52 minutes, this morning Wednesday 12 June I ran the same 5K route at 160 steps a minute and that took 38.05 at an average pace of 07.43 compared to 10.26 on Saturday and burned 362 calories compared to 274 on Saturday. Next time probably on Sunday I'll set it at 162 steps a minute, that just might get to around 35 minutes which I did run last year.

Sounds good... I tend to run an even tempo and adjust stride length for pace, but getting used to a slightly quicker tempo could be a good idea.

Thanks RFC, this morning just after 9 I went on to run the 18 minutes of the second of the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura, the speed+5K podcast but during it the app cut out and I ended up doing the 28 minutes one again, nevertheless after I completed it I had a good rest until 4pm when I did the last 100 of UnfitNoMore's challenge, tomorrow, a short walk, a cycle ride and on Sunday I'll have a go at that 5K speed stepping stone podcast.

Wow excellent almorr. That is some going and some dedication. As others have said you smashed it. Think I would have taken most of the day to do that. Might try that one in the winter lol

I registered on the UK Parkrun forum today in case any time in the future I may want to run at a parkrun, they sent me my barcode to be printed, however, I don't have a printer as I have never needed one. I got advice from Oldfloss about getting one direct from the Parkrun Website, thank you, however, I will get my daughter to print it off when I see her soon.
