Tramodol: I am on 2mg Nupro patch and... - Restless Legs Syn...
Tramodol
If it's working and you're not getting withdrawals- sounds good. Well done.
I would say yes, always the less drugs the better - always.
I am on targinact 40/20 Neupro 2mg and tramadol 50mg PRN - I tend to avoid the tramadol as much as possible as the other two keep me about 75% of the time.
You will soon know if you need to use it again!!!!
Good luck.
Raffs do you think you need to take something with the patch x
HAVE TO, unfortunately - I forget if I don't write down what I have taken and then if I miss either of them my body goes to hell.
Even with both drugs I have plenty of bad nights - I have 2KG of Kratom but wont use it until the other drugs have to be changed but it would work great,(unfortunately the dumb UK Govt. brings in more and more legislation to help criminals and big businesses!).
I told my wife that if I wasn't married with children I would have killed myself a few years ago and I can tell you if some horrible accident happened and I lost my family I would be dead within the hour (I wouldn't touch myself while any of my family are alive as I've seen the damage suicide leaves).
My GP wants to try a drug free spell but I cannot gather the courage to suffer like that for 3/4 weeks - I spent over a year with nothing but co-codamol, (8/500) and it broke me! I want to be drug free, (I have chronic pain issues besides the RLS), I hate that I have to use these substances, (personally speaking if I could use Kratom all the time it would be perfect and a lot less harmful to me but see previous rant for why I don't! IF my RLS stopped I would tolerate the pain but I cannot tolerate the restless body I would video myself and show the Dr but it would do little good I think.
O Raffs so sorry it's so bad I am sure you had told your doctor big time can't imagine you standing any prating around. It's about 2yrs when my legs were so so bad after Requip my legs used to buckle under me and folks don't understand. We're all together on this site x
This site and all of you good people posting has been fantastic for me. I've gotten some great advice and it is brilliant to know when you talk people actually know how bad I feel.
My wife understands thankfully but we often have to sleep apart - I either can't sleep because of the RLS or if I'm lucky to go to sleep I end up kicking her out with the PLMD!!!
You can always try, see if it works.
I am taking Gabapentin and Tramulief. I thought the Tramulief wasn't doing much so stopped it. Next night my legs just would not stop moving so it was back to the Tramulief. Hopefully you can stop the tramadol and be ok but I thought I would let you know my experience
