Tramodol &Pregablin

can anyone tell me if it's better to take Tramodol on its own or mix Pregablin with it ,at the min I take 2 pregab 25 mg. at 11.30 and 1 Tram at 5.30 50 mg. then last one at 10.30 also 50mg The thing is will I get more success just staying with one sort of tab maybe I will try thanks. X

Personally speaking I think hitting things hard can be good. The drugs work on different systems so you aren't going to OD or anything and the dual action may bring even greater relief.

I always found using co-codamol and Ibuprofen at the same time hit my pain better than staggering doses, (if I took that combination 3 times a day worked better than taking each separately 3 times each = 6 doses of drugs). The sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts if you catch me?

Just my 2ps worth. Best way to know is to try it!!

Taking a combination of meds at low doses can work better than taking one med at a higher dose. But its some thing you would have to work out for yourself. See which way is best for you.

As I have previously posted, I find that taking gabapentin (one or two 300 mg) with tramadol (50mg) works better for me than taking either drug on its own. I am at the stage where I just want something that gives me a reasonable amount of sleep.

Dachyde thanks for what you said so when do you take your tabs because that's what I am after is a good nights sleep x

Thnx. I suffer from red & Behçets. Evenings & nights my legs are SO painful. I noted you take tramadol together with the pregabalin. Does that make a big difference to you?

Hulio I don't know what you have I have never heard of it do you get rls or painfull legs,when my legs go they are so painful,I take 2 Tramodol because 3 made me itch all over not nice,all I can say they do work well to me it seems the Tram are for the pain and the Pregab make me sleep most of the time anyway ,good luck to you x
