Tramodol
It would take more than one bad night to know if you were going down the augmentation road. If after a week of not sleeping and your symptoms became worse during the day and at night then you can think it could be augmentation. Meds, can have blips and for no reason at all can stop working for a few nights, then re-start again. Tolerance is another thing to consider.
Yes, tramadol has been a blessing for me also. I have had rls syndrome ever since I was dx with ms but it would come and go. Ever since I started having knee surgery 4 years ago, 5 times actually, the rls started up a few times a day and I could not get to sleep at night. It was driving me crazy. My neuro put me on tramadol and it worked the very first night.
Well Judy so pleased for you, don't know what's happened to me just had 3night misery why all of a sudden I will just hope it soon goes back to where it was with out taking more tabs x
Hi Beady, glad you are getting some help from tramadol. I am back on 1 50mg at 4 o'clock. Upped dosage to 100 mg just before and during my daughters wedding. Went up to resort bedroom to rest at midnight and woke when guests were leaving at 2pm. Not too apologetic as I think I did the best I could. Back to my old routine but getting aches from about lunch time. Keeping on move until time for tab. At least I'm getting lots done as can't sit still. When my nerves feel on edge I get hot water bottle and heat pad and that seems to sooth or distract me until 4.00. I don't want to keep upping dose as I do feel a bit out of it sometimes. Even so, much better than walking floors at night. Seeing doctor on 2 April. Over a month wait for appointment. Will see if he is clued up on RLS. Kind regards, Dot.
I saw that you traded in your tramadol for new medicine. How do you feel about that? Keep us informed. I do hope that it works out for you, my dear.
