Ah well...

Just goes to show you never know what the day will turn up.

Had a chest Xray two weeks ago, thought it was okay. But call from Doc today was a bit of a bummer. I have to go for a CAT Scan, Hum, it's probably fine - but does make you wonder if there's something up... I hope not.

I'm not one for panicking thank goodness, but it does sort of play with my head. I'll just have to wait and see, though with my patience record, it's going to be an effort.

However, I am on day 9 not smoking, though I have thought about a cigarette. Probably because I can't find my wall charger for the ECig I've been using. Have sent away for another one which will take a day or two to arrive no doubt. I've tried charging it on my computer, but it's not taking a charge. I'll have to manage with the chewing gum meanwhile.

What a frustrating day!

buy another ecig till your charger turns up! You can get a disposable one for around £6!

Hope you got some sleep, and ready to start a new day, it should be a sunny one later. Very sorry you got this worry, they come out of the blue, last thing you need. Try and keep your mind off it, keep busy on the small important stuff.

That ciggy charger problem.. I've noticed them selling the ecigs in the paper shop and the local garage here - are they any good as a standdby? Guess they're less sophisticated? I'm on patches and inhalator, so don't know much about ecigs.

You've done amazing getting to day 9! 'eep it up! I'm easing my way into day 3, not my first quit, but it might as well be.

Hope the day goes well, and you keep the worries and the fags at bay.

Morning Betts, Thanks for message. Yeah, I got a few hours sleep. Not great at sleeping anyway. Ecigs are ok for a quick passifier. They can take the edge off, if u really miss the inhaling part. Better than nothing. Get a rechargeable one though & a wall charger. Gill,

Good to hear from you Sue, yes trying not to think to far ahead, but have to go for blood tests Friday, before I get an appointment for Scan apparently. Still, day 10 for me now. You're 10 day's ahead I think... hope you're really pleased with that. It sure ain't easy. Get well and strong

Hey Gill, lets just get you to Friday, wait for the results and take it from there. At least you have some control in maintaining a smoke-free lifestyle. Stopping smoking is the best thing for you to have done and regardless of the outcome of your test results, this will have a huge impact on your health on a positive level We are all behind you 110%
