Thought Pete was at work and Sue packed up for the night. He never said he'd started his holiday already - he hadn't asked my permission! 
I just kept falling asleep in front of the telly. 
Well, it's another beautiful, fresh morning so I'm off out on my bike again. Will join a group that goes out to the New Forest every Saturday. Did it a few weeks ago and it was a lovely run. Nice to have some company at times too.
Morning andi, Yes I was surprised went i logged on later last night. How Pete started his holiday without telling you ............ well he will have to be told off.
Enjoy your bike ride it even looks a nice day up here too. Going off to buy some more jeans from M & S then perhaps have a walk later on , when I have finished doing the washing etc.

Can you believe it's the weekend already?!
Reading through your posts last night made me smile. You don't half entertain yourselves
The weeks really are flying past us. Without wishing our lives away, if we can ride through those cravings (which will only last a matter of minutes) and change those smokefree minutes into hours, then days and then weeks. By staying smoke free for at least 28 days, then you are 5 times more likely to stay stooped forever.
Remaining as positive as possible helps too. Even at the times when you really don't feel up to it, look into the mirror and give yourself that positive talking to.
You really can do this, you just need to believe in yourself
Have a lovely day everyone, I'll be popping on and off throughout the day... In between all this 5 mile running and 20 mile cycling I have planned.. As if... I wish I could ha ha

Did about 30 miles on my ride this morning - beautiful!
Just out visiting friends this afternoon. The second one I visited had another friend there who gave up smoking in February. Haven't seen her since about June and unfortunately she's back on the fags. 
She feels really bad about it and is considering trying to stop again for Stoptober. I think her main problem is that everyone else at work smokes so she feels she's fighting a losing battle with it.
That Pete's obviously enjoying his van today, hope he went for a nice yomp in them that Dales> 
Hi andi, 30miles, wow. you must be really fit. I feel like an old codger compared to you. Suppose at 63 I am. 3 miles walking is my limit with mi Nora battys.
Anymore and i would have to hitch a lift with the white van man. Thats if he`s talking to me after giving him his work sign for next week. Glad you and Sue liked it.
Like you say it must be a good van as he`s not back yet. Aww ! do you think he`s broken down.
I hope not - and I hope that's not me on my travels next week - looks a bit similar to how I'm imagining it to be.

Reminds me - I must go and buy some trekking pants next week. I held off buying them as I was SO sure I'd lose weight this summer. I didn't really want to buy them and find they didn't fit any more next year - will hope they've got an elasticated waist.

I wish! Mind you I'm not a blob but I wanted to lose half a stone before quitting which I didn't manage and have put half a stone on since quitting so I think even you can do the maths! I'm sure I'll lose some on my holiday though - if not through probably not liking the food then the alternative!!!
Yeah I`ve put half a stone on too but thats from about 6 weeks ago. Not too worried about it , but dont want to put anymore on. Started having salads when we go out for a meal. Can be a bit boring at times , but if we can get through quitting we can surely manage diets. ( can we?)

I gave up on my weight along time ago i just try to eat healthy now, and do whatever exercise i can, which isn't much, or maybe i can't be bothered who knows x
I've been pretty good for a while now but I think I'm regressing this week! Have had a whole pack of pistachios over 4 evenings (better than 2 I suppose), a fry-up for dinner (2 x fried bread, 2 x fried eggs, 4 rashers streaky bacon - mmmm), pizza last night, biscuits, chocs and am just about to have jacket potatoes with cheese & beans and sausages - can't wait! Am just having food cravings again - and allowing myself to give in to them. Oh well, better that than back on the fags I guess.

I'm 53, but my body is 90
I was 56 last Saturday but I am very fortunate that I have good health despite smoking for most of my life. Have got to eat my dindin now, see you in a bit.

That was so yummy. I got the sausages from a farm shop near Bognor and they are wonderful - and virtually no fat comes out of them. Made up the fat with too much cheese but heigh-ho, didn't have any butter.
Don't know where the old man's got to - must be stuck in the pub - hope they're not all leading him astray again!!

As for stictly, yes i may watch a bit of it, cus i do like dancing, plus its good exercise too
Andi dont you worry about your tummy gal, cus i think its an age thing, i know you exercise but i have found out that getting rid of your tummy is harder as you get older, even when i do situps but hey gal we are fit

Where to? Perhaps they were caught by Pete before getting on cos he keeps disappearing too.
HU were having terrible problems a few weeks ago and I put a blog up about this problem and we were all copying our posts before posting so if it disappeared we could try again without having to rewrite it. It was especially annoying when it was a long, complicated thing that disappeared. I tagged it with 'disappearing posts' and 'gremlins' if you need to look.
