Was out for dins last night so you'd all gone to bed by the time I got back.
Bits of high cloud and the sun's just coming up. Don't think it will be such a nice day - so long as it stays dry I won't mind.
Got lots of last minute running around to do today and grass cutting - you know how it is.
Car's also going in for service and MOT so when that's gone will do everything on foot. All in all it will hopefully keep me distracted from thinking about you know what!
Morning andi, Last day with pt for a few weeks eh. By you will be fit cutting grass and walking everywhere. Hope your car passes m.o.t. ok. Just had ours done last week. Really pleased as got it serviced and m.o.t just over £ 200 not bad as it`s a 52 reg. and didnt need much doing last year. Like you say if it keeps you busy it does take your mind of those piggies.
I had to fight a craving last night about 2.00am as my neighbour never stopped banging around. I wouldnt mind she is 66 lives on her own, out most of the day, comes home about 5.00pm . 6.30 pm onwards she decides to vac and clean the house (this is every day) then when she does stop its only when she goes to bed about 1.30am. She then sleeps in until 11.30am and off out she goes again.
However got no piggies in the house so I wasn`t tempted.
Anyway less of my moaning.
You have a good day. catch up later.

Sorry I wasn't about much yesterday, I had to attend a conference in London 'Healthy Communities 2012, delivering healthier, happier & longer lives'. Really interesting and informative but one hell of a long day and journey. I tried to access here on the train on the way home but the signal was terrible
Lots to catch up on here so bear with me whilst I get myself in order and see where everyone is at
Lots to read through from yesterday, which is always ice to see. I wonder what antics you all got up to!
Kal69, congratulations on reaching your first week in. It really does pay off by staying positive. Even more so when you just don't feel up to it! Just when you think you've had enough, remember that it will get easier. You are doing great
Jillygirl, it's unusual to hear of you having a bit of a struggle. If you had any hidden cigarettes in the house do you think you would have been tempted? You've come such a long way now, lets keep going
Andi, I want to go on holiday with you, I can put everything in a rucksack and be with you in no time. It sounds such an exciting trip and a holiday of a lifetime. Rucksack or suitcase... I love the rucksack life for holidays
Ken, sounds like a good enough reason not to hoover You must be coming up to your 3months pretty soon now eh? What is the biggest tip you could share with everyone to stay smokefree?
Pete, how's it going for you now? How are you finding staying smokefree when living at home with other people who smoke? I really admire how you keep on, keeping on. You're a star
If anybody is still thinking about quitting, remember that it's best to plan towards your quit date, get organised and then go for it
For those of you who are still 'feeling everything as quite a new quitter', remember that when you really do feel that you want to smoke, no matter how bad it gets - the feeling will pass. Then, if the craving comes back, then it must have gone in the first place for it to come back... does that make sense? Every craving that you get is a positive sign.
The feeling will pass... whether you have a cigarette or not.
Morning Emjay, Nice to see you back on site. No I wouldnt have been tempted with a ciggy last night. The thought went as quick as it came. Might have stuck 2 in my ears to deafen the noises though.
See you later as going out with sister in law and 2 brothers in law for our fortnightly natter over lunch.

Good morning Emjay, nice to have you back sounds like you had a really long day, does that mean you'll be noddin most of today then
I've been outside mostly keeping busy or on here typing which keeps my hands busy, it has been harder than when i'm at work though
Claire must be having a rite long nodd cus havnt seen her for a couple of days
Have a lovely time and a good catch up Jillygirl. Just to let you know too, my dining room is back so hopefully I'll be back to baking over the next couple of weekends so I'll have a go at some of your recipes
You're funny Pete I had a couple of days snoozing so it's only fair that it's Claire's turn now eh?!
I think it's a positive that you are at home when you feel like this as you can always pop on here and get some support, whereas whilst you are in work it is difficult to help you out. Try and stay positive and remember that as long as you can take yourself away for them moments of cravings, then you'll come out squeaky clean Good to see that you are finding things to do to keep your hands busy. It might be worth really focussing on how it is you are feeling during these times. See if you can describe the feeling... Does it feel like it's physical or psychological - in your mind or in your body?
We can do this together Pete, just keep going forward
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toEmJay
Thank you Emjay, i know i can do this with the help of you and everybody else on here
I feel empty with nothing to do, and erm theres something missing - well we all know what that is not sure whether its in my head or body or both really will try to focus more next time
Afternoon all. Hope you had a good lunch Jilly, Pete's probably jaunting round the Dales in his passion wagon (either that or cleaning/organising it yet again!! )
Hopefully he'll have another new friend for next week. I seem to be going round in circles and getting nowhere - as usual. Right, off to cut the grass now, see you later.
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Nope not in my passion wagon either
Hope you enjoy mowing the grass, about time you did something usefull instead of going around in circles your sending me dizzy
No, that's just the start! A bit different from when you just go for a few days and chuck everything including the kitchen sink in the car - I need to get everything including the kitchen sink in 20 kilos in one bag! Will have to get everything together then see what I can leave out.
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Get rid of the chocs
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Well Andi, i'm gob smacked, you have been a busy little bee
I'm rite rite impressed with you gal, just a couple of things, cant see packing on the list have you got all your flight - cruse tickets, and your passport is upto date isnt it tummy pills, injections, Jillygirls mobile number and a pic of me to put you off the fags
Found out the other day that they don't allow tobacco in Bhutan - can you imagine that as a smoker? Arrive and probably have your fags confiscated and an enforced quit with no warning!! Must be worse than going into hospital and that's a holiday! Must have been fate that I quit when I did.
Bet you really feel like a non smoker now. Just been looking at some pics of Bhutan, looks really good. Take plenty of photos. Have you packed the camera?
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply tojillygirl
Dont be silly Jillygirl, she cant work a computer so how will she know how to work a camera !!
I'm starting to get dizzy going back and forth and up and down!
I always had a good nose for things as well as taste. There's just one thing I've been meaning to mention for ages but kept forgetting. I'm finding that a lot of fruit that everyone says is very sweet I'm tasting it as quite sour. A friend weeks ago told me it must be because I gave up smoking.
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Not getting weighed for over a month so don't care. Am expecting to lose weight on holiday now with their food. Hoping I don't get too much Delhi-belly though. Have got the pils for it just in case.
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Yes but us women can spot sour things straight away, we are sweet enough so dont need all that sugary sweet stuff, where you fellas need it to stay sweet.
We only eat chocolate etc , to be polite as it`s not nice refusing people .
(If you believe that you`ll believe anything ! )
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply tojillygirl
Of course I did. When my friend came to stay I was complaining that we (England) were always sold all the rubbish in the fruit market and how it never ripened or was sweet when it was supposed to be - particularly things like melon, grapes, peaches, kiwis, cherries and clementines. Had some in the house which she ate and said were sweet and it must be me. Only thing I don't ever have a problem with is bananas!
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Sorry about that, the doorbell rang - my next door neighbour - decided to have their drive done. (Irish cowboy rang my doorbell yesterday but I declined) They've dug everything up and left it all over the pavement for the night! He's not a happy chappy!!
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
I bet he's not that happened to someone at the back of me, they never did come back to finish it !!
She paid them 800 quid and the poor gal lost it
So about 10 of us, including a couple of farmers sorted it for her, not quite tarmac, but gravel and she can park her car on it
He's not paid them yet and says he'll pay on completion but apparently they're asking for cash when they'd agreed a cheque would be ok. Looks a bit ominous but the hardest work's been done as in all the old stuff's been dug up.
